Nameplates (PC)

Hey all, I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I dont understand why there is no option for displaying Nameplates on players and npcs...

I just started playing a day ago and having no nameplates is really making it hard for me to even try getting into the game... I cant tell who is an npc and who is a player except by the way they move around.

How does someone know if a person is a friend or an enemy in pvp with no nameplates?

Anyone have any advice how to get around without what i would call a needed MMORPG feature?

NPCs are normally surrounded by a red, yellow or grey aura deoending on hostility level.

In PvP opposing players have a yellow , red or blus sigil by their name and a red aura.

You should check your settings if there is no indicator when a player belongs to an enemy alliance. There should be an option to enable alliance war indicators.

I use the health bars to identify enemies, the only down side is it shows the health bars of inconsequential towns people.

yea it`s still silly, having the option to toggle on or off nameplates should be fine. we actually had them in the closed pts beta, but to many fanboys whined it hurt their immersion seeing people running around with a nameplate.

Personally I want them nothing more annoying seeing a person running by you either on the same quest or just questing nearby, and trying to see their guild tabbard, or mouse over them to see if they are in your guild or someone you know.
