Do you want ESO cross platform?

  • granty2008cyb16_ESO
    Yes
FFXIV: A Realm Reborn is available on Windows®PC, PlayStation®3, and PlayStation®4, and players from all three versions will be able to play together regardless of the version they purchase!

this would be awesome if they did it in eso !
    Meh!

For those console players worried about getting dominated my PC players then just keep PC and console on there own server for PvP and everything else just make it cross platform for the sake of increasing the amount of players that you can play with. WE NEED MORE PLAYERS....THIS IS A FACT!

FFXIV is a lot different than ESO. You don't have to dodge/block, you don't have addons, and the combat has a 2.5 sec cooldown in FFXIV. I do enjoy Final Fantasy, but you have to do a lot more moving and interacting in ESO. Also, FFXIV is mostly a PVE game with smaller PVP focus, while ESO has a lot of PVP focus. One last thing, is you can use mouse/keyboard on Final Fantasy and keybind it and keybind and set up macros for your controller. You don't have that option in ESO.

Originally I wanted a cross-platform server where everyone could play together (well, still separated in NA and EU servers). As console launch started to come closer, though, and more people started discussing it, the people saying it would be a bad idea changed my mind.

PC players would just have too much of an advantage over console players due to all of the add-ons available and various other factors. Having one segment of the player base with a significant advantage over another segment of the player base on the same server would just be bad for everyone I think.

The only reason I would answer YES right now has to due with the population on PC platform.

I would say yes, but only for consoles. PC players and their scumbag hackers(no offense, I do play PC games too, but sometimes hackers poop on everyone's Corn Flakes) would break the game. Especially when they use 3rd party mods.

Not to mention the programming nightmare that would ensue. XB1+PS4 cross would be worth it though IMO <3

pc advantages? no, if you are voting yes you are either clueless or are on PC and just want an unfair advantage over the majority of players.

I said yes, but only across consoles, you should have had an option for that.

I voted no as being realistic , but in a perfect world I'd enjoy it.

But we are talking about Zenimax , can you imagine the issues on patch day with three different platforms ?

Hah... That would be nice, but no. PC players have so many advantages over console players that it would be like fighting with NPCs... And if we talk about X1 and PS i really dont care :P
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

Not between PC and consoles, however between PS and XBOX it would make more sense.

I would say that having cross platform would only enrich the community rather than hurt it. With the threat of being hacked still very real on all platforms it would not make much difference if they simply have their own firewall. One of the key selling points of the game was the idea of a megaserver, allowing for all players to log in to the same world and play together, though work is needed on the layering and phasing of game driven mechanics.

Overall it would only be more positive than good if only they can stop worrying about bureaucratic red tape nonsensical pushing of papers. This allows friends from all backgrounds to enjoy a game that has been designed for a multiplayer experience along with still having a very valid single player adventure.

Bethesda, Zenimax I urge you to consider cross platform which gives people more ways than ever to share an experience they all love.

No thank you, I'd rather they focus on other things, such as like content.
