You are correct, but you forgot the girdle, which is in the small category.

It's worth noting that the difference between a small piece and a large piece isn't just about how much armour they provide - it also determines whether an enchantment placed on the item is at full strength (for a large piece) or at a reduced value (for a small piece - I don't remember the exact value, but I think it's 40% of the full strength of the enchant).

Shoulders are small, only chest, head and legs are big pieces. You can see this in game by looking at the enchant value.
