Any guild have them for sale at a reasonable price. I'm not paying 1,500 for a lvl 20 recipe.

If it is Purple or Blue you probably will, if not more. Those are extremely rare and are best found doing Provisioning Writs. Greens should almost never sell for more than 100, typically less than 50. Some of the rarer green ones used for writs can command 200 to 400, but only for a while. I imagine that most recipe prices will drop as more people feed things into the Guild and Kiosk stores.

However do what the rest of us do, go shopping at Guild Kiosks and search out bargains. Note, you only need one Magic, one Health and one Stamina for each level in Green. You only need one Blue to buff up the two stats you need most. Purples are not really worth it below L50.

Of course if your a recipe collector like I am, just search out the bargains or do lots of Provisioning Writs at various levels.

LOL the green ones are the 1,500. Almost no blue. I would pay good for blue just not lvl 20 green when I'm lvl 41 provisioner. Everytime I take a writ I don't have the recipe and can't find it. I'm annoyed at not have an auction house/broker like other mmos. I have been looking but only the green ones and blue that were far out of my level and gold. Thank for the info though.

Finding a particular recipe can be a major pain. It helps to join a few large trade guilds so you have access to their stores when at the bank. After that, you are forced to check different stored in the world.

The one thing I hate about the current guild store setup is that the items in guild stores aren't focused on the level of the location. I sell a ton in my guild stores because I have been doing provisioning writs on 8 characters for months. One of my trading guilds would get me 50%-100% more for greens than the other. I will always sell for as much as the market will bear.

I have sold a lot of writ recipes for 400. I am shocked to hear 1500, but maybe you are on the console. Or maybe that is a recipe used for a writ and maybe those are more valuable now.

Must be a console economy. The prices on the recipes will drop. Once people start doing Provisioning Writs, the market will get flooded. Also, join a guild that has a store, not all of them have or even want Kiosks, those guilds should charge less.

Just remember, if you cant' find the recipe, then try to buy the finished product. As long as someone crafted it, you can turn it for a writ. Just don't buy the White ones that are found in containers, all the crafted ones are Green or better.

Started a second account. Wanted to see if PVE would be hard again - I have not used my main account for gold, gear, etc.

This is a recipe required by a level 1 crafting writ for an AD character.
    My character didn't have it.
    Not on my trade guilds.
    Went to:
Guild kiosks in main city, Auridon wilderness, Skywatch
Switched to my EP character and went to:
    Davon's Watch
    Ebonheart
    Mournhold.

Finally broke down and went shopping on my main account. Went to:
    Grahtwood
    Wayrest
    Rawh'ka (sp)
    Belkrath

No Banana Surpise. Moral here, if you can't find the recipe and can't find it already made, then you skip and wait til the next day...and keep looking.

I just listed that recipe this weekend, but I think it sold. I can make you some if your on the PC/NA server. Provisioning writs ask for the same 3 foods and 3 drinks 99% of the time, so your going to be asked for it again.

Send me an email to @Nestor and I will make you a 12 stack to get you by.
