Please dont skip bosses...

Do your group a favor and dont skip bosses. Please.

I am a MMO fanatic since 2003 and i know the type. GW2 was the last game i played that was full of such guys, and seems that they came to ESO.

I had the unpleasant experience yesterday with a party where a guy that was showing of his knowledge of the game shortcuts and tried to skip 2 bosses in Fungal to kill only the last one... the party was a pug and did not know what he was trying to do, and was an aggro/despair funfest never seen before. The group finally disbanded and the guy just made himself of childish fool with everyone angry at him.

Remember that probably your pug group want to run the dungeon and enjoy the game.
Remember that min/maxers who only care about results, are less than 5% os players, moreover in console.

Do your dungeon, have fun and use shortcuts with friends that want the same thing.

So only join groups that plan on running the dungeon per your requested method rather than making a forum thread about it?

After you have done an instance 30+ times and have completed every achievement there, why would you WANT to do all the bosses.

That aside, all instances I run, I always ask (per boss that can be by-passed) if the whole group wants to skip or kill.
If one member wants to kill it, we then all kill it.

Some people may want the speed achievement (got to kill all bosses for that), others might want an item that only drops from that boss (worm cult pieces).

But for PUG groups, always ASK what the leader plans before going with them.

I can imagine wanting to skip a boss, but I can't imagine ever skipping a boss when I am with a group unless that is what the entire group wants.

Agreed. Skipped bosses = skipped loot & XP.

If I was in a group that I'd run that particular dungeon with many times, and we all wanted to skip a particular boss, that's the only reason I'd ever do that. Even if I have personally run a particular dungeon a ton of times, if I'm in a group with people I haven't done that dungeon with, I'm still probably going to want to do all of the bosses, because the fights are always a little different with different people.

Not skipping bosses = more time for almost zero exp (you get more exp killing 1 normal mob outside of an instance compared to 5 mins on a boss inside an instance) and crap loot if you want to do the daily on your eight toons and just doing the instance for the golden keys.

Still, if anyone in the group want to kill it, then the whole group should. I can't recall a single boss that is skip-able that drops any good loot. (like worn cult)

5 minutes? Who takes that long to kill the skipable bosses?

Most of the time these bosses fall so fast since 1.6 that it is more of a hassle to skip them. Plus you get a Soulgem and a pretty good chance for a purple mat+some vendor trash.

I am unsure about the drops of Adroitness in COH. It is the only place that skipping bothers me a little .Some people say that it doesn't drop from Ibelgast or the Skeleton but I had pieces appear out of nowhere in my inv so I am not sure and I do not want to risk it.

This definitely. Dungeons give garbage XP when compared to grinding mobs outside. It's not a valid reason to kill the boss. The loot tables for bosses are also crap, lol.
