All the half full ppl kept saying "wait till E3"," there will be info at E3".... since we have none of what they showed at Quakecon 2014....what does it even matter if they show up? Really?

I'm not trying to be a "witch", but all they can do is show an updated video of the shite we already knew and were supposed to get before B2P
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

My only hope is that they'll work on the way they announce things. It's great to make big announcement, but if you can't deliver it becomes the worst thing ever.

From this year's QuakeCon, we need release dates, and things that will happen in a month or two, not more. Zenimax please, you can't afford to do the same mistake a second time, you've already ruined the trust people had in you last year, but if you do it again, this mistrust could go towards the Elder Scrolls series in general and everything that is Zenimax related, including Bethesda, etc...
Some people are already confused about the 2 studios and think Bethesda are the one making ESO, and those people will blame Bethesda for your mistakes, it would be a shame.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Trion does a much better job when announcing things, and they perfectly understand the fact that you should always avoid making big announcement when you're not sure if they'll be released or not. In all their livestream you can always see the care they take when answering people, and the thing they talk about. It's still a terrible company for other reasons (because they want money above all else), but on this part they're still better than you.

Reality is much better than big announcement and teasers, keep it small, deliver, and maybe the trust will slowly come back.

I bet by the end of the year, Imperial City and Orc Capital will be in game, you guys seems to be forgetting something, it's all about DLC's which equal money so now those things will start to happen, consoles are out the launch problems are starting to tapper off, it is go time for more revenue stream.

As far as spell crafting goes the person that was in charge of that no longer is employed at ZOS I believe, I think you can kiss that goodbye for a long time, and think about when was the last time they even mentioned spell crafting.

I will say ZOS is slower than owl poop getting anything done for it's player base.. /sigh

Alas I feel it will be DLC. I reallllly hope it won't be and they will at least put some new stuff in than just going straight for a cash grab....

However, I think this is closer to the ZoS office moving forward now :(

It is good to keep in mind that most of those additions they talked about, were supposed to come AFTER console launch, but console launch was delayed a year, thus, why the surprise that additions were also delayed? They didn't want to start adding content until all platforms were released- console players would not want a 'day one DLC' and PC players would be upset if they "included" any PC paid DLCs to consoles for free. They want to keep all platforms equal, which makes implementation of fixes, features and content much easier than having one platform months ahead of the other two. Because of console delay, and because consoles will be the majority and means for which ESO remains viable, they focused their resources on finalizing the console release. Again, no surprise and makes complete economic sense. ESO can afford to lose most of the PC players and remain viable because of the high majority the console players will make up; just an economic fact, consoles players outnumber PC players by a HUGE margin.

    This!

Further. The biggest mistake that Zenimax made was releasing the game while it wasn't ready with a lot of promises that they couldnt keep cause the wasnt ready.

The console release went reasonable well, but that is with hindsight. Before hand they had to calcualte in the possibility of another dissasterious release. So I'm glad they did and showed they have learned from the PC release. Now this is past us we can look forward. I bet they are now busy evaluating the console release and looking forward what the best path is to continue from here. Instead of more rushed releases, let them have the same approach as Tamriel Unlimited and console. Good and solid releases without too many bugs.

Yeah, consistently being called "the worst console launch in history" is reasonable... ...not.

False because if that were the case new content would be coming out every day for people to buy.

Just glad I only played on Mac for a short period last year otherwise I could see this as being really stale.

I hope it is a coincidence, but the Imperial City pre-release chatter promise from ZOS and QuakeCon are both scheduled for July.

I sincerely hope, with every fiber of my being, that they are not doing something stupid and trying to coordinate Imperial City information with QuakeCon.

The base game has plenty of content. It's not at all surprising that major additions would be paid DLC at this point.

That has already been determined long ago. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Already paid in $300 for the time frame that content was to be released in. Far as most people are concerned we already bought it and are waiting for it to be delivered. I'm sure the right thing won't be done for us, but it is indeed lame nonetheless.
