LFG tool NOT WORKING (console version) and NO DEV IS ANSWERING THIS

Hi all. I know this happened some time ago in PC too, at least when I left the game the problem persisted, but I thought it would be fixed for the console release. I managed to get like 10 friends to buy the PS4 version and now that they are lv20, they are all asking me what happens with the lfg tool, because they never get to form a party with an never ending queu. It does not matter if you are healer, tank or dps, it just never forms a group. So something is very wrong here.
But the worst thing is that the Support forum is FULL of this kind of post, and there is no official answer from any dev regarding this topic, never. Which makes people think they are avoiding the matter, and I think it is a very very important one, more so in the console version where all we have is voice chat to organize ourselves so a working lfg tool is fundamental.
So please, is any dev willing to asnwer this officialy and tell us if they know there is an issue, or if they think there is not an issue so they can explain us why this is normal or whatever?

✭it never worked on PC as it cant handle the multi instance server technology... and no one cared since alpha/beta... so why do you think it will be now adressed because of a handfull more complaines?spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused

I have to admit, this is going to be a deal breaker on content for me long term if this isn't fixed.
World of Warcraft does this perfect.
Even Neverwinter does this fine.
For TESO being unable to do LFG PvE match making simply, quickly and without a hassle is a big, big problem.
If a casual MMO like WoW has taught the industry anything, it's that you need to cater to the casual, solo gamer as much as you do the organised guild group environment and CONSOLE doesn't get much more casual than this.
It's going to be a long term deal breaker for this game, Destiny should alert the Devs what console gamers think of multiplayer content with poor or non functional match making components.3 -

I am a DC Breton Templar Healer. Queue only as a healer on the NA Megaserver.
Spent a total of 3 hours in queue tonight (requeued twice) for 3 different Dungeons in the Level 30-40 zones.
Didn't get a single group. Not a SINGLE GROUP AS A HEALER!
I cannot believe with the amount spent on this game's development they could screw up such an important fundamental in MMO design in 2015.

✭✭You have the same 10 people claiming it works just fine on both platforms. Everyone else knows it's busted. ZoS knows it's busted via responses sent out (for PC) replying to emails sent in about it. For some reason though, they absolutely refuse to acknowledge it officially. On this forum or otherwise.
It has nothing to do with people being new to consoles and not knowing it's there. There were just as many MMO newbs at PC launch, and the LFG tool worked GREAT... right up until the time they started messing around with dungeon scaling. It hasn't worked correctly on PC since then, and I will bet my bottom dollar that the console version isn't working properly for the same reasons. Dungeon scaling somehow busted the LFG programming and it's causing issues on both platforms and ZOS still has no idea how to fix it.
That is my opinion.
The biggest problem is that it works SOMETIMES for SOME people in SOME situations. This just leads to arguments on the forum about it because everyone thinks they are correct based on their own experiences with it.
The fact as I see it is that it simply does not work reliably for everyone. And considering how many other games (with much smaller populations) have a perfectly functioning LFG tool, it's an issue.
Especially on console with no text chat.

On the other, I'm happy that it's broken on console because now maybe it will get some dev attention. It's been broken on PC forever.

What ESO needs most (apart from new content):
1 -A helpful, sophisticated group search tool.
2 -Rewarding PvP objectives (for small groups as well) and anti-zergball merchanics in Cyrodiil.
3 -Solo PvE content/activities where VR 14 characters can hunt without an XP penalty (aka more grind spots and repeatable quests/instances/dungeons with many monsters and good respawn for max level chars that allow them to gain Champion Points).
4 -An ingame guild database.
5 -Events (not player-run events or crown store sales but real events where things happen in the game that normally don't).
6 -A loot system with a better chance to get an item type you need (for example a token or craft system or more monster/boss/dungeon-specific drops).Edited by GaldorP on June 23, 2015 9:13AM1 -
Pman85✭✭✭✭on the xb1 i find my que times rather short. 10-15 min. It is even shorter if i go heals or tank.
granted some times it only puts 2 more players in a group with me, but i know it is still in que while the other players rage and quit on me.Guildmaster - Order of Stendarr [XB1] - Apply today!
