I see these questions all the time in my guilds, and they are usually answered. ETA - if doing this through the forums, please state your platform. The consoles are at a very different economic stage. LOL, you are probably right. OP should have stated console user. I can't imagine playing the game with no add-ons. Console users, you are being had, as the base UI lacks MANY useful features. You guys are being had. All motifs can be found in game if you look on a regular basis and have a little patience. There is no real advantage to knowing more motifs. They only affect looks, and at early levels, you change armor very fast, it doesn't make sense to focus on how you look. But it's your gold, your play style, your hang-up if looks out weigh spending gold on inventory space.

TalonKnight✭✭✭sorry for u console user, u have just found out how rude the PC community can b, i have played ESO since beta, and play on the PC, and x box 1 so i will tell u what is up with the price thing without being an a hole....
The thing is that on the PC reg motifs r going for maybe 300 gold a piece, but u have to remember that the availability of those has gone out of the roof since the PC version has been out for a year.
But when the PC version 1st came out a reg motif was going for about 4500-5k, but that will change later on. Still on the PC the daedric motif is going for like 40k, and the imperial motif is like 150k, and thats even after a year.1 -

I don't think they're "being had", this is the result of a brand new in-game economy. If that's what console players are willing to pay right now, then that's what they are "worth". Blue motifs sold for 4-5k right after pc launch too. Nobody had had much time to farm for them yet. With so few to go around to console users, anybody who wants one "now" without having to work for it will have to pay a premium. I expect prices will go down in a few months.
Prices on PC have no bearing. We've all had over a year to stockpile drop items. I had to put a "no motifs, no more recipes" rule for one of my guild banks because there were so many.
