Simple Nightblade thoughts

Hi,I have a lazy friend that wants a simple nightblade build for pve using 2 hander and bow. This will be for levelling, can edit for endgame when he gets there I have only a little experience with nightblade but below is what I came up with.

Race Redguard
Medium armour with perhaps 2 pieces of heavy armour.
Stamina focused.
Skills:
Teleport strike -- Ambush
Momentum -- Rally
Uppercut -- Wrecking blow, or Carve -- Brawler
Reverse slash -- Executioner
Strife -- Swallow soul
Flawless dawnbreaker

The bow line we'll worry about once he gets to level 15. Does this seem a workable basic build for soloing and grouping. I thought he could use brawler when soloing for the damage shield and wrecking blow for maximum single target dps when in groups.

    That is the build that 75% of Nightblades in Cyro seem to be using.

    Lol so I set out to make a pve, group build and came up with a pvp built, oh well, guess it has promise either way then. Any thoughts on improving it while keeping it simple or changes you might make?

    how can i farm fg asap to get flawless dawn breaker? is that skill is #1 for nb cc/aoe ?

    Just kill undead and deadra a lot ass well add doing the fighters guild quests. The reason for the flawless dawn breaker I'd because it g gives bonuses toweapon damage just got being slotted.

    2h: Brawler, Surprise Attack/Wrecking Blow, Rally, Camouflaged Hunter, Executoner, Flawless Dawnbreaker (Soul Harvest until you get it)
    Bow: Reaper's Mark, Venom Arrow, Relentless Focus, Double Take, Arrow Barrage, Soul Tether

    Even simpler build for low levels PvE is bow and Bombard. Use Magnum Shot for occasional bosses. Use the other three slots and ulti to level up class skills from each tree. Craft 5 Hunding Rage and 3 Ashen Grip. Heavy chest, light belt, others medium.

    I know that, but OP asked about simple build. We probably talk about levels below 20. I did exactly this with one alt. Extremely simple.

    Thanks all, I'll be letting my friend see these and firefly get him moving along, at the moment he's level 9 and only spent 6 skill points ass he has no clue what to put them in. Now at last he's got a starting point.

    "Good judgement comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgement."

    The only way to truly learn the Nightblade is to try things out yourself and understand why those abilities work so well together. Having an idea for a good build is definitely beneficial but I can tell you that part of the reason I love this game is knowing all the niches of the Nightblade and theorycrafting different possibilities. If you don't make mistakes you won't really learn how to become a good player. Food for thought.

    I agree entirely and that's my attitude towards my templar. This request was for my lazy friend though and I've not played a nightblade myself so was for getting him a solid start and hopefully he'll experiment from there.

    PvE NB DPS 2H/bow build

    1. Carve / Brawler
    2. Executioner
    3. Evil Hunter
    4. Ambush (or Critical rush, but it's buggy)
    5. Rally

    1. Poison injection
    2. Focused aim
    3. Evil Hunter
    4. Magnum Shot
    5. Relentles focus

    Flawless dawnbreaker ulti on both bars.

    PVE is so easy now all he needs is 4 skills really to faceroll the game.
    The rest of the 8 slots can be used to level all his other skills.

    Go Bosmer.

    2H bar (for single targets, bosses) = Ambush & Wrecking Blow
    Bow Bar (for multiple mobs) = Bombard & Arrrow Barrage

    Stack Stamina, Weapon Damage, and Crit Chance (easily crafted in Hundings Rage/Ashen Grip)
    Wear Medium x 7, stamina enchants, warrior stone, precise traits on weapons, infused/divine on armor, take all relevant passives.

    Profit. Congrats now PVE is so easy you will get bored.

    PvE Does not mean game leveling it also means vet dngns, dsa and trials.

    Saving this thread and gonna try a new NB...
    My previous NB was terrible in fights, I knew I was messing up my skill points! lol
    Still new to the game, but NB was my first choice cause rogues are always my favorite
    Stealing sweet rolls.

    Nightblades are better. Versatility in killing.

    I think you mean wrecking blow and killer's blade. Rally won't be available until ~35-40.

    I think you mean wrecking blow and killer's blade. Rally won't be available until ~35-40.
    35-40 lev is only about 1/4 - 1/5 of leveling process

    2h bar: wrecking blow, ambush, executioner, shadowy disguise, rally
    Bow: lethal arrow, magnum shot, venom arrow, reapers mark, impale.

    Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS

    You might want to reconsider that. It's the Magicka/Spell Damage based morph of Assassin's Blade and doesnt fit into a Stamina build.
