Soooooo, collectibles gonna be introduced anytime soon?

originally i didn't really care that i didn't have any, but now there are rewards for them i wanna unlock em.
problem is, im guessin u were supposed to collect these things as u were playing through the PvE lines, now many of us are done and the opportunity to collect is gone.
so once this stuff is eventually available we're just gonna run around killing stuff for the small small chance it may drop one of these collectibles? booooooriiiiiiiing!
sooooo, what is the better plan?? when is this stuff gonna actually be available, and what are u gonna do for the people who have finished the storylines? increase drop incidences for higher vet zones??

neiljwd✭✭✭I got a collectable drop yesterday, from Lamia in Geenshade, as 1st DC vet area. Second Skin I think it was called. Was BoP, and once used, ticked off that section in my achievements.
Bit of a bummer we've missed loads of opportunity to get more while leveling though.1 -
whvice✭✭✭Just got a blue Fang thingy as well, from scorpion mobs. Double clicked it and it went right into the achievement tab

✭✭That's what she said...So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.7 -

You have to hit E to "use" them. Then they will vanish and count towards achievements.As long as collectible crap doesn't take up precious inventory/bank slots.

✭✭✭✭I got a crystallised chitin trophy from a kwama on tuesday, and a petrified spider egg from a spider on wednesday.
The collectibles appear to be working

phatbandit✭✭✭hmmmm, hope i didn't mislead anyone into thinking that only vet's could get this stuff, new characters actually have an advantage because they don't have to go out of their way to collect them.
the more storyline you have completed, the more likely you will have to go out of your way to collect - new characters have 3 playthoughs, silver vet's have 2, and gold vet's have 1. those that complete gold vet have to grind for every, single, one... hardly fair, and dead boring.0 -

- Twitching Draugr Hand: Any draugr mob
- Whirring Dynamo: Dwemer Spiders
- Perfectly Balanced Gyro: Dwemer Spheres

aipex8_ESO✭✭✭✭✭So I got the chattering skull on my alt last night. Yay! First collectable found. The question that I have though: Will these drop on lower level mobs? If I'm going to grind these, it will be with my VR12 main, but if certain mob types are only in lower level areas (where I currently don't get loot from mobs) will I be SOL?
I know there is a bug related to the introduction of collectables that is preventing getting crafting mats from low level mobs (which they are aware of) so hopefully collectables will work like crafting mats and drop for higher level players as well.0 -

✭Collectibles currently only drop from mobs that would normally get loot. eg within 5 levels of your level, V12 = L50, so any mob L44+
Once your 5 level about a mob they stop giving exp, gold or loot EXCEPT tradeskill loot, but that appear to be broken since the last patch and currently they don't even give tradeskill loot anymore (leather, guts)0 -

Use them from your inventory and it will add it to you Collectibles Achievement.
