[CONSOLE][NOOB] How do you know when you're done?

I keep seeing people say the fastest way to level is to "do all the quests/delves/dungeons" in one area then move on to the next area.

Is there any way to tell when you have done them all, or to even tell which you have done and which you haven't?
The ingame "achievements" list is okay to see some things, but it doesn't really tell the newer player much...since we haven't alreayd played thorugh the areas ten times. ;)

EXAMPLE:
I was watching my "Glenumbra Explorer" to see when I hit the "50 quests" mark (THinking this meant that is how many were in the area.). I hit the mark. However, since I finished it I have done another 8 quests, at least.

Is there a 3rd party website that tracks our characters?
On Destiny there were sites that could even track how many times you shot "x" weapon. (lol)
(PS: Destiny sucks...well, not "sucks",but...it needs help.)

Anyway...um...thanks?
(Yes, I just woke up and haven't had any caffiene yet.)

Do you want an Hint .

This is not the fastest way . If you know what your doing pure grinding is fastest way like 3-4 x faster. If your new do the main quest and kill every damn monster you see while doing them , side quest are not worth if you wanna go fast they only good for lore players.

Once you reach VR1 and you have a friend vr 14 there is a cave in cyrodil where if you both know what your doing , just by grinding you can achieve 800k xp hour. and 800k xp hour at vr 1 is like 7-8 x faster then questing

There are add-ons for PC that show you most quest givers. I know you cannot use them but I suspect that info is on the web also. Also make sure you get the achievement for interesting locales. I am not at my PC so I forget the exact name. Explore all areas on the map. If a location icon is black then there is likely something still to be done there. There are usually more quests than the quest achievement requires. If you a completionist like me you may start getting over leveled later on.

EDIT: Make sure to get achievements for delves too.

I read that grinding mobs is faster, then I read that doing the main quest is faster, then I read that saving the main quest for last is "the best way"...it all just boggles the mind. (lol)

I am deffintely a "completionist"...that may be my problem.

Thanks for the tip of the icons being black.
I haven't noticed this, and will look for it when I get some more caffiene in me and fire up the game.

If you dont do the main quest at one point you will be stuck. Also the last zone of your faction you have to do everything in order to unluck cadwell silver.

Main quest of all zone , main quest of game and kill every damn monster you see in your road best bet for you . If you become 1 level higher then the zone switch the zone jsut skipp al content (if you wanna go fast) and go str8 2 next zone until your at last zone of your faction then you have to do it all.

I personally hit vr 1 in a week when i first started . skipped a whole zone of my faction only went after i hit vr 1 to get my mage guild up cauz i wanted the op passive and skill from it.

I don't want to "rush" through the content.
I just want to "rush" through leveling up my skill lines. ;)
The story, for me, is more enjoyable when I can relax a little bit more because my skills are "up to the challenge".

Grinding is only viable if you have alts of the same faction.
Grinding is bad for various reasons:
You miss out on achievements, location access, tons of loot, gold and crafting materials.
If you have an alt of each faction, it is highly recommended to do all quests and try to get as most achievements as you can, even for Dyes. They are account wide and each faction has it's own unique set of dyes which can't be acquired otherwise.
You can speed the process however by grinding short periods of time inbetween quests if you come across a nice spawn zone.

As there are no mods on console, not really much way to find new quests other than explore the entirety of the map :D

On PC I don't use mods myself, and I've easily overlooked a few quests or secret locations, so it's easily done. All I can advise is check out as much of the map as you can and have fun doing so, but if you really want to speed through skill lines it might be worth looking at the wikis :)

When I was on pc I used zygor guides to make sure I got all the quests, now I have eso running on my pc and still use zygor guides to guide me on the ps4. They don't update the guides anymore and I don't believe they sell them anymore so you have them already and the pc version of the game or maybe get a friend who has them to email them to you.

Right? Who would want to miss the thrill of killing 10 mobs of Drueghs on the beach, or killing 10 mobs of lamias in a swamp. What a fool.
