Maybe wait for the next loner ES game to come out.

I sympathize with the 'this is an MMO, not a solo player game, so don't ask it be like Skyrim' argument, and agree with it in most arguments. I'm not sure it applies here though, b/c ESO has been like this since the beginning in theory and practice. It was their original goal, it works (that is, end-game content can be completed relatively easily with no stats on your screen), and its part of what ESO is.
I'm not asking them to make it 'more like Skyrim', I'm asking them to keep it like ESO, and not go down the road of stat-filled MMOs.
The title. The latest ESO Live episode all but confirmed that in addition to adding buff/debuff timers to the UI of consoles, they would be likely adding it to the console version as well.
I just want to confirm and emphatically state that I do NOT want my screen cluttered up with anything. I assume it would be easy to have multiple UI display options, and that when they introduce the combat stats UI, they'll give us the option to leave it the way it is.
I am all about immersion and complete 'end-game content' without any need for anything other than my attribute bars.
The option for more immersion breaking UI is great--but thats what add ons are for, and I don't want to play a glorified iPhone game where I just read tickers and stats. I want to play an ES game with immersion.

It seems pretty clear that this stuff will be optional just like virtually everything else in the UI, but I guess some people need something to get upset about even if it is really nothing.
