Rage tells?

So, Skaffa and I have been getting many rage tells from players telling us we use 90% damage reduction hacks, that we get random healing wards on our health bars, and that we are somehow able to resurrect ourselves.

First of all, I would like to state that we DO NOT and will never use hacks. We make clever use of game mechanics by chain-pulling, of course, but all of the whispers and fan mails I get about "hacking" is a little ridiculous. Of course, it's amusing, and when we get these messages we just laugh in your face.

About the "random" healing wards, we always run with one Sorcerer, and that would be our Nigerian Native. So when you think we're hacking, we've really got someone behind us throwing wards up. So, keep calling us hackers, and thank you for your inputs, my little zergbads. <3

Seen you two fight quite a bit, especially Skaffa. According to my journal I have 71 tick marks under Skaffa's name, meaning he's killed me 71 times; so I do my best to avoid him. With that said, I never once thought you or him hacked, just very skilled players.

You guys run a tight coordinated crew no doubt. Skaffa has always been an impressive bear to bring down and I've enjoyed being part of the angry pack of dogs tearing at him.

HOWEVER. You and Skaffa need to quit doing that thing you were doing yesterday. You know what I mean. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. That little mechanic is not intended, not in the spirit of the game, and really annoys players. Especially new players who are surprised that you two are where you shouldn't be.

Well, I wouldn't exactly pat anyone on the back when it comes to "cleverly using game mechanics to their advantage" (it is ESO mechanics we are talking about here folks).

That being said, maybe Skaffa should stop fooling around and help DC win campaigns. It would be the BICEPS thing to do.

These two are just crying for attention. There is no reason to keep exploiting into Bleakers or Sej over and over and over but for attention.... They don't kill anyone, they die everytime, and do it over and over and over... Look at both AP on the boards, it goes up maybe 5-10k an hour for them?? LOL I don't get it. Also, they don't have OP builds. Theyre just using Nirn and pop bats when theyre about to die, and then die when the bats go out. Does broke Nirn make you have an OP build? Nooooope.

I like fighitng these two. I was shadowing skaffa at the gate in a larger engagement the other day and he definetly falls into the class of dk i can't expect to burst apart without some help or dueling bars.

People mad about their tactics need to counter! Don't waste any cc that could give immunity, and either land fear or a thru block disorient and burst on cue. Or chase them around till you eat the lash!

Naw you just use bugged game mechanics that will be balanced in the next update, aka flame whip spam behind permablock. Not saying it makes you bad or anything but the advantage is a known bug cause it goes through dodge roll.

the ones telling how bad player you are cuz u killed them and interrupted their sorc while he was trying to rez?
you block them and so they put their minion to rage tell you how bad of a player you are because they were unable to kill you for half an hour with that lash spam thru roll dodge?

You embarrass yourselves with that type of whispers

In a video game you are looking for sportsmanship? Everyone here knows that a player (usually the "hardcore" ones) will go to great lengths to rack up kills. The top ESO players have dumped many hours into theory crafting, spending time in PTS actually studying the game, etc. etc.

They enjoy doing whatever it is that they do. Otherwise they wouldn't be doing it would they?

They didn't theory craft anything, they slapped on broken Nirn and people think they're good or tanky or something. Yeah, must of took alot of theory crafting to use something thats broken lol. When its fixed they go back to melting in seconds.

My post was more about general ESO player population rather than the two of topic in this thread. At the same time, many players have Nirn on. Yes it's broken but it is available and people are seeking it out. It's just how the world of online games work.

Speaking of which, what is the status of ZOS fixing Nirn?

Good sportsmanship exists, even in this game. I've had the pleasure of a few exchanges with lots of good people from other factions. For as garbage as some people can be, the rare encounter with a genuinely decent player makes it all worth it. We could have a long discussion about how an individual's personality changes in a competitive environment, especially how anonymity brings out the worst traits in many. I just prefer to take the high road, being nice is just as infectious as being a jerk.

i have gotten tells accusing me of hacking when i just cast radient after casting a dark flare, just by tapping one button after another. (animation canceling hacker $%^&)

well..... w/e... i get the same when i cast a Overload light attack right after a Crystal Shard..... well one person actually told me "nice combo"...

    meh.....

YOU KILLED ME YOU MUST BE A HACKKKERRR..

    meh...

i see liz and skaffa i tell people to get away from them... need a good group to take those two on even if they are alone... basically as good as you can get with that style of DK which is already a tanky style....

to a degree tho, i dont think dodge should be as OP as it is... which is why when im on my dodgy NB i rage when i die, but dont really hold it against the people using those abilitys...

btw... NB has a skill that is doing the exact same thing... so why dont we see as many NBs going the Magicka tank and spamming concealed weapon? it seems like 90% of the Nbs are stam, 9% are magicka, and less than 1% are sap tanks....

well ive rambled enough for now...

That's not at all true about everyone. I know many GREAT players who do not wear nirnhoned. Sure, some people do wear nirnhoned. Skaffa wears it as far as I know. However, that doesn't change the fact that HE IS A GREAT PLAYER.

Been out of PvP for a few weeks leveling up a new character; is Nirnhoned not accepted anymore? Last time I was not wearing nirnhoned in Cyrodiil I was getting 2 shot by sorcs and 1 shot by Templars. So I threw on 4 pieces per character and now am able to actually fight back. Is fighting back not allowed?
