How do you find bloodfiends?

Xbox One player here, obviously just started on the 9th.
Google seems to offer no agreed-upon conclusion as to when vampires spawn so I would appreciate answers to the following:
-Does the moon cycle actually affect bloodfiend/werewolf spawns?
-If bloodfiends do spawn on a given night, will they spawn all throughout the night? Or only once in that night? Or something else?
-Where exactly are the spawn points? I'm in EP and am aware that they spawn in the Rift, maps seem to point towards the south side of the zone, is this right?
I'm not looking for someone to bite me, I want to find the bloodfiends myself

Sithisvoid✭✭✭✭✭I found bloodfiends out by lobe's light in reaper's march AD. Don't listen to the hype you can find them. Yeah ppl will be trying to kill them so they can scalp you/rip you off trying to sell bites. You have to be faster than them lol0
