How do I send gold to other people on Xbox One?

I went to "Mail" and then hit RB to send mail. I typed in the user's gamertag and filled in what I wanted to send to the other player, and then I hit "Send". It said "There is no player with that name." Although, I KNOW there is a player with that name. This is very irritating because all I want to do is send money and a gift to help that player get started. What am I supposed to do?

    Did you try gamertag and character name?

    [New 6/15] Unable to send mail: We've seen reports that you sometimes cannot send or receive mail. This appears to be caused by spaces in a player's Xbox Gamertag. We're actively working on a fix for this.

    Does this person have a space in their gamertag? Check out the known issues thread here..

    As well, you can also meet up with the player in game and trade with them :)

    Or make a guild with you two being able to withdraw and deposit guild, and put it in through there. :)

    But the thing is, is that we both use the same Xbox One. I logged into my account to mail them money and an item, and it won't work.

    But wouldn't that also defeat the whole purpose of having the "send mail" option if we both have to be in a guild and do it that way?
