2 of my guilds were disbanded. My other guilds had showed people not logging in for days/weeks, and the friends that were online on my friends list weren't the same people who originally owned their accounts.

Are you sure they disbanded and you didn't just get kicked for inactivity? Most guilds have an inactive policy and will kick any members who haven't logged in for a certain period of time.2 of my guilds were disbanded.

PC NA is quite busy lately. Some of the trade guilds I belong to are booting people who are don't log in for a week or have anemic sales. Perhaps you belonged to one of those guilds?

I had emails from the guild leaders saying they were disbanding the guilds and merging with other ones because too many people quit playing. They told me to message them if I started playing again and I would get an invite to the new guild. It's a real shame but I saw it coming. We were end-game guilds that had just gotten bored because we completed everything months ago.
These guilds died because of Zenimax, @Sharee. No new content/focus on console.0 -

pecheckler✭✭✭✭✭Of my four PC trade guilds: I was booted from one, another was disbanded, and two others are nearly empty. Each of those guilds had 80 to 140 players online during prime-time a month ago. The two i'm still in had less than 30 players online at 9pm EST last night.
Keep believing the PC version isn't going to die. What did ya'll think would happen when zenimax ignores the platform for 6 months?End the tedious inventory management game.2 -

What do you mean by weak? Server first wins on hard-modes of the trials? Full completes of Vet DSA with no deaths in under 1 hour? Or how about the PVP side where a group of 4-6 of our people could wipe out groups of 20+? Is that what you mean by weak?
My guilds were far from weak. They consisted of hardcore endgame players who would put most others to shame. This game got boring because of Zenimax lack of updates/content. Who wants to do the same thing over and over and over again for no new reward? Not me.0
