Cod'ing an item and not receiving the items or Gold back, help!

So yesterday I was selling some of the xp pots, a man wanted 14 of them so i cod'ed the items to him like he asked but after that he went offline and ignored me, i cannot receive the items back and it'l be 10 days before I get it back and I'm losing allot of gold because of this. Is such thing aloud, I thought this was a good community of players. I try to send him mail to ask him about the items and if he purchased for them yet but it wont let me send mail to him cause he ignored me after I sent the xp pots.

Edit the post and remove his Name, Naming and shaming is not allowed at all.

You can Report him. but you will not get the mony back, the pots after 10 days.

As far as I know cod mails return after 3 days, if the person to whom you sent it didn't pay the gold untill then.
My advise for trading high price items: Always meet with that person. It takes like 30sec to travel to the same location, you can be sure that you get your money instant and you don't have to pay the cod fee.

Thats why i make high cash trades face to face.

If buyers are in different factions i have two alts (so with main i have access to any faction) and they can travel anywhere (beside coldharbour and craglorn). I transfer gold/sold items throught bank to them and then back to main in same way.

3 days unaccepted gets autoreturned, not 10. I use it all the time.

(I COD 1g when sending needed items to someone so they don't go into limbo, for instance.)

Any attachment (non-COD) will also autoreturn after 30 days if the attachments are not accepted.
