(trading mechanics?) can you trade set bonus gear?

for example, the set, "relics of the physician ansur" can you pick a ring up off of a boss drop, and proceed to trade it to a friend? it would really suck if we grind out the sets and end up getting the opposite pieces and couldn't trade or just give one to a friend...

    There are only certain pieces that are bound. For instance, the shoulders you get from the undaunted chests that are part of the 2 piece sets are BOP.

    I'm pretty sure most are not, but I'm not an expert at all. I still use crafted sets.

    The items are Bound. Not sure if BoP or BoE ? Would assume BoP.

    There are 2 types of set gear. Some is bind on equip (so you can trade it as long as you don't equip it) and some is bind on pickup (so only you can use it). Most sets are bind on equip. The only exceptions are:
    - Sets that only drop from trial endbosses (and weekly / pvp rewards) like aether or quick serpent
    - Masters weapons from dsa (and weekly / pvp rewards)
    - weapon sets from veteran dungeons like relics of the physician ansur you mentioned. From my experience this are the bop sets that are the hardest to get in the whole game
    - the group focussed sets from veteran dungeons (worm's raiment, hircine's veneer, ebon armory)
    - Monster helmets / shoulders from the undaunted pledges

    exactly the reason i was wondering about the rotpa set. i knew they were hard to get, but no trading makes it that much harder.
