Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Has anyone with the console version seen a bloodfiend yet?

Trendsetterdsm
I have been checking almost every in game night and haven't seen them anywhere yet. Just wondering if they have spawned for anyone else to see if I should keep checking or wait a few days to check again

Do you want to become a Vampire? Zone 4 is where you find those.

    http://teso.mmorpg-life.com/become-vampire-eso/

Or get a bite from someone who is already one.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You should mention that you have transfered over so we don't assume your fresh to the game

As for not seeing them, weird. But from what i understand, the spawns are rare. Ask for a bite from someone.

@nestor never said I transferred over either, I do my research. All I asked was if anyone with the console version has seen one yet. Nothing more, nothing less

These are regular vampires, they can't infect you. You can contract the disease only from special spawns in the fifth alliance zone (Reaper's March, Bangkorai or Riften).

In fairness, just in regular passing through the Zone 4 areas in playthroughs, I didn't see a bloodfiend for about my first 6 months of playing.

As a side note, I don't know about the console community, but on PC it's very common for people to kill the spawns so others cannot get them. Some do it for RP vamp hunting, towards PC launch some guilds did it to control/set the price of bites exceedingly high, or much like the people who stood in line to buy a ps4, ps3, ect just to smash them in front of the waiting crowd, some people are just **** who want to ruin others' fun.

And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

The best question to ask is.... What phase are the moons in? Vamps show up around the New Moons and SHOCKER Werewolves show up on the Full Moons.

I have a hard enough time telling the time of day, let alone the phase of the moon. How does one determine the moon phase in ESO? And is it 3.5 hour days to 1.5 hour nights?

At night look up in the sky if both moons are full with no shadows on the surface then its a full moon. If they are just a VERY small crescents or it's the new moon. There is one of each once a Earth week or one Nirn month. Also a full day/cycle on Nirn is about 6 earth hrs or ~4 a day.

No Problem and good luck because they are a rare spawn as it's been said in this thread some people kill them on sight to drive the price of bites WAY up.

While looking for some werewolves we ran into a pack of blood fiends. NA megaserver/Ebonheart Pact in Riften.

    EU Xbox

They were spawning yesterday but they were all killed within 2 minutes of spawning. I luckily managed to agro one and get turned, I'm now a vamp.
Also 1 of my guild members got infected by a vampire assassin that came out of a rift near Dune in Reapers march. also the moon phase was nearly full so once again as had been said before moon phase doesn't matter.

Moon phases are not relevant. Vamps have shown up before at New and Waning Gibbous. WWs have shown up at Full, Waxing Crescent, and Waning Half.
