hotol71✭Yeah it's tricky.. Got the same issue, i hate any full auto subscription for example if a vendor do not fix bad issues.. ;-)
Browse to https://account.microsoft.com and login with your Microsoft Account and than browse to subscriptions, scroll down to ESO Plus and than select the option to quit the subscription. You're set!

Yep.. Needs to be done thru a webbrowser, currently there is no way to cancel the subscription thru the Xbox One account configuration or thru the regular Microsoft Xbox website (quite funny...). You need to go thru the https://account.microsoft.com site at the moment. Sorry i forgot to mention this...
