Just need some iron

Hey guys, I'm level 17, trying to help a new friend out. Could someone tell me some good iron mining spots or trade me some for cheap. Xbox one. GT ( a ShallowPoet5)

Iron ore is found literally everywhere on the starting islands and in the first zone. Just look below more or less any cliff and you'll find a node. Google for some maps from the PC version if you want to find the spots more easily, but it's not a rare resource, and there are no particularly tight clusters of it. If it's rare, then there are probably just lots of people farming for it, in which case you should be able to find it for sale at a reasonable price in the guild kiosks.

Also if you aren't concerned over much with morals you can steal armor and deconstruct it for Iron bars saving you the time and effort of refining.

I haven't made a Daggerfall character, but if you are Ebon heart you can also head out the west gate by the market and on the battle field with all the spirits there are two tents on the north and south side which will have armor and swords that respawn whenever you go indoors and come out again. These do not count as stealing as you are taking enemy equipment basically.

If you are playing dominion it is even easier as you can go back into the starting ship and there will be several pieces of armor, some swords, shields and bows that respawn each time you leave and come back. Again this does not count as stealing.

then just go to a black smiting station and select deconstruct. as an added bonus you get a little smithing EXP for deconstructing armor and weapons, this is similarly true for clothier and woodworking.
