Why do so many bash and complain?

I'm not complaint-free...but this game really is incredible. The landscape is insane, the world is one of the largest I've ever seen, and playing in groups of 4, 12, 24 is a blast. Sure...it's been effed up, and had some goofy bugs... but still, I'm not sure anything out there is better, and judging by the cartoonish style of the future games I see, there won't be for a long time.

Just wonder why everyone has to beach and complain all the time.

Because whenever someone gets something nice, someone with a sour attitude has to bring that something nice down so that the "someone" is as sour as they are.

In short, complainers will complain, just enjoy this wonderful game ZOS has given to us.

In my case it's becase I hardly get to play. I set in queue for upwards of 10 mins then get booted and have to re-queue for another 10 mins. That if I don't have to reload my game because of invisible quest givers.

People get frustrated. People vent. Better to let them do it here than all over social media sites.

And by coming in here to do it, they are giving Zos a shot at dealing with whatever troubles them first. Far more destructive are those who give up and just tell everyone they know the game is not worth playing. That can cost any company a large amount of business.

And happy people are a pretty quiet bunch, which is why there are more negative threads than positive ones.

Because it is better to vent and complain than have patience. Doesn't affect me one bit, I enjoy the game and keep in mind that the forums is only a small portion (albeit we are more vocal) of the masses.

I sure most of the crying is coming from 0-23yr olds the older people just post what there problem is so zos can look in to it. And the major complainers this is there life and don't know how to do real stuff and wait for the bugs to get fixed.

This is not the first time this has been raised. Seriously...you are complaining about people complaining...you do know that?

Some of these "wingers", believe it or not, have actually helped improve the game. Not all of them, but some. People should in no way be discouraged from voicing concerns here in the forum. It is why the forum is here, is it not?

My theory is that this was retaliation from two previous hyped MMOs. No way this game deserve 78 metacritic, damn its actually 71. Thats just plain wrong. Anyway ESO took the crap from both them.

As said @Dru1076, most of the people dont even know that this forum exists, bc they are enjoying the game. Most of the ppl gets here when they have problem. And if we talk about general complains on internet, its just because many peeps wanted the skyrim online, and for most of them this is first mmo and they dont understand that mmo have to be different to be playable. As someone who plays mmos over 14 years, i can tell its one of the most enjoyable ive ever played, its isnt perfect but still its awesome!

because graphics is nothing that keeps you playing. and everything else is extreamly rudimentary.
its like a hot chick/guy you might bang them over and over but if there is nothing more you get used to it quickly and start looking for sth else...

Also not complaint free, but I still log in every day for 4+ hours AND enjoy it. They're doing something right to keep me from wanting to switch to a game with a bit more reviews.

I just came by the forums to check out the patch notes. I will usually stroll through here and there for a bit. I learned a long time ago to avoid games general forums as much as possible, especially if you enjoy the game.

Just remember that half of the population is of below average intelligence and they seem to flock here.

Yeah really, why? I mean, don't you enjoy the battles with hundreds of players in cyrodiil? the new content every four to six weeks? the in combat bug? riding across huge lands after someone landed five attacks on you in half a second thanks to animation cancelling? finding lots of groups in the group finder?
Really, i wonder how i played for nearly a year without complaining, paying for a nice beta and a cat mount...

In before guy praising ZOS for their very prompt fix to the awesome patch like that matters even a little bit.

For me, it's because I actually do like the game, but I hate the way ZOS have treated it and the player base. I've gone from loving the game a year ago to be in a stage of constant disappointment at the way things are handled.

-Lack of communication between ZOS and players
-Constant mentions of 'Soon', regarding new content.
-Even after E3, no specific time periods for releasing real content, not crown store items.
-Lack of taking on board player feedback.
-Still being unable to fix server problems, lag issues and connectivity issues.

Like I say I do enjoy playing the game, but the path it has been led in spoils it, it could have been so much more.

These threads serve absolutely ZERO purpose other than to bait. You are obviously going to get the answers you don't want. People are entitled to their opinion, they payed for the game just like you did (some people more than others _{), and therefore people are entitled to express their opinion, positive or negative. @Area51Visitor This is not limited to ESO but to all things with forums attached.

If someone is enjoying a game, then they are generally not on the forums, they are playing the game.

People on the forums are generally one of the following types

Those that cant play due to technical reasons
Those that are getting board
Those at work
Those waiting for patches

So the types of people who are on the forums means that the amount of negative posts will seem higher than the number of positive.

You get a very squewed (spelling?) view of the game from the forums, ANY game

Hmm..honestly I wasn't really seeking specific answers. I did however want to provide some positive feedback...with everything always so negative.
