quick newbie questions (ps4)

Hi all, got some quick probably obvious questions about eso on ps4.

1. What name is displayed above my characters head to other players? my bethesda account handle or my psn handle? And is there any way to change it? Also what picture is shown when u view someone's profile ingame is it their ps4 avatar or the actual profile picture you have set?

2. Is there any way to assign more emotes to the radial menu or thats the max?

3. Are objects like crates and chests in buildings instanced? like if a player is beside me it seems he cant loot it but i can im guessing because they are not seeing it as full because they already looted it?

4. Do most ppl play in first or 3rd person view?

5. is there a ps4 manual? i got the digital edition.

I'm on XBox but I think I can answer most of those.

1. Your PSN tag is displayed, despite you taking hours to come up with a racially appropriate name that fits with the game's lore.

2. Not at the moment.

3. First come first serve.

4. 1st person view is arguably better for fighting and looking for stuff. 3rd person view is better for looking at your character.

5. The digital manuals are supposed to exist online but didn't at last check. This may change in the future.

I prefer 3rd person myself, but its because I heal, as well as seeing what's around me.
Back on my pc days, I started in first, but went to 3rd towards my last days.

I have an added question about chests, crates and sacks ... do they eventually refill? I'd hate to think I missed out on a rare item. lol

Forgot to add that I play in 3rd person all the time. Playing in 1st makes me motion sick and also gives me a headache. I might tweek it up a bit in the future though if I'm feeling brave. Also, I'm not an auto-looter. I take anything I might need for crafting etc or share if there are lower level characters about.

thanks all for the responses. About the chests crates etc. i am still in my starting city like level 3 or 4 havent done much but have yet to see anyone even looting a chest near me and they walk right by like its not there. meanwhile i go around looting crates and bags etc i really suspected they were kinda instanced or uniquely flagged (appearing unlooted to me but not to others).

and yes i soent time thinking up an apt name only to be hollered at on voice chat by my psn handle. (can i change psn handle btw? i forget).

Chest and crates are instanced some are empty for you, but for some others players have loot, at least on PC. You can farm a room in an Inn, for example, by looting, logging out, logging back in, loot again, etc.
