We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Would you like to be able to select the default Guild Bank?

So I have multiple times went to the bank....deposited items ...then realized I deposited my items into the wrong guild bank....to top it off the bank I did this in I didn't have withdraw permissions.....needless to say I didn't bother with it but I did have to leave and get re-invited to several guilds in order to get the guild that I have been in the longest to be the one whose bank I primarily access....which is simple enough I guess except that as a person who rp's I frequently change guilds a lot and, there is sometimes a bug that occurs which prevents depositing to the bank and the best way to fix it is to leave a guild and get re-invited....except then you have to leave all five guilds and be re-invited otherwise your default is incorrect....well it's very annoying and I saw a post by @SirAndy which reminded me about this annoyance and I thought it would be worth running a poll to see if other players might also like improved abilities:

I would like to primarily be able to set which bank pops up by default when I click on Guild Bank.

Additionally I think it would be great if I could actually modify the entire order of all my guilds. This would allow different guilds to be primary for different characters (rp reasons....), fix bank issues, and make getting all the builds to the right color spot after you leave one a lot simpler than it is currently.

Yes! Default guild I think of every. single. time. I log in as well.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

    Yes, same here....

And while we're at it, can we get a default for the inventory sorting? I must have clicked that button a million times by now.

It'd be nice, but I also consider it to be a pretty minor issue. If it'd be a super easy and quick thing for ZOS to do, then sure get that low hanging fruit and allow us to do this. If it takes any real effort, though, don't bother and focus on other things instead.

Who cares about guild bank order if it only half of the time actually loads when you try to access it.

I can go with that UrQuan I've always been of the mind that good time management is key, I would think in this instance 1 programmer 1 work day is probably the benchmark to decide to do or not do this but again that depends if they only have 1 programmer then it's more like 1 programmer 5 min, and if they have 10,000 programmer it could be more like 100 programmers 10 days....I dunno the details to make that call but it would be nice icing for a really annoying ui function.

not to belabor the point, but yes. Seriously...some of the most basic guild functionality seems to be missing, and in a system that hinges on the expectation that you will be interacting with multiple guilds, having those guilds assigned priority seemingly at random or first-come-first-serve basis seems both painfully rigid and short-sighted.

The above is only one of many simple record-keeping improvements I'd like to see implemented with guild and other social functions.

Very true. From my own experience, when you're prioritizing bug fixes and functionality improvements you need to look at the available resources, the severity of the issue, whether there's a work-around, and whether it's a quick win (what I referred to as low hanging fruit earlier). Sometimes it's appropriate to prioritize quick wins over other issues, because the whole point of them is that they take very little in the way of resources (and for that you need to consider both dev and testing resources), yet they provide an improvement that users will notice and appreciate, so you can have a much faster turnaround time on them.

Anyway, if this were to fall into the category of a quick win/low-hanging fruit, then I'd be happy to see it implemented.

Agreed! Guess it's also relative to whatever other projects they have prioritized. Would at least like to hear it's put on the to-do list, even if it doesn't qualify as a current priority. It's a relatively minor issue but when it happens it's pretty high on the annoyance level Especially when the guild you do it to you do not have withdraw permussions.
