Morning!

Is Psijic Ambrosia recipe pieces found anywhere in Tamriel that any motif would be found?

Next question is the full recipe going to be available for crowns, like the Dwemer motif?

Thank you for finally adding this! I will finally level my last few alts to v14 now!!!

Do you even know what pay to win means? Since you can get this in-game, through either effort or gold, it's not pay to win. In the patch notes it said it drops from Provisioning writs.

The recipe for Psijic Ambrosia cannot be found whole. Rather, it comes in seven parts, each distinct from the other. These recipe fragments can be found by completing Provisioner Writs; the higher ranked Writ you complete, the more likely you are to find a fragment of the recipe. Recipe fragments can be traded or sold to other players, however, so an industrious Provisioner who has two fragments could trade or sell one of them to get a fragment they do not have.

It cannot be looted from containers at all, neither the pages nor the whole.

As to 2.:
The crown store does not offer the recipe, but it offers a consumable of similar effect. I doubt they will be selling the recipe, effectively hampering the potential income from the crown store consumable.

I love this whole idea, especially the link with fishing, but it would be really helpful in countering the inevitable P2W claims if it could be officially confirmed that there is no intention to offer at any time the recipe or ingredients for purchase in the Crown Store.

*facepalm* you can still get champion points without it. If it's not giving you a significant buff that NO ONE else in the game can get without paying and that no one can overcome (like god-tier gear or a pay-wall blocked ability), then it's P2W.

This, this is not P2W.

Whether it's extremely rare or not this is not p2w bra, like everything in this game, the mats and recipe pieces will get farmed to the umpteenth and we will have shnaz loads in every store.

I personally think P2W is me buying Auri-els bow for 5000 crowns that could 1 shot any player in PvP or give me 50k DPS on trial bosses. Not everyone getting to v14 50% faster with the same stats...

I see this as ZOS's solution to the Vet Rank XP wall that players hit coming out of the normal levels. Its great to see. A welcomed addition to the game.

This is, in my opinion, an elegant solution to a complex problem. Rather than removing and re-balancing an entire leveling progression system and all its mechanics, they have provided an optional craftable item for players to use to expedite the process. This saves players from having to pass through the learning curve of a revised system, and saves the developers from having to waste time and resources remaking, basically, the entire end game. They can instead invest that time and energy into brand new content and DLC - hopefully.

I guess that remains to be seen. Based on what I see from this patch though, my confidence in ZOS has SPIKED.

Not only have they removed that frustrating XP wall, but they also did it in a way that revitalizes provisioning, provision writs, the ESO economy, and FISHING.

Looks like people will finally stop leaving bait behind in resource nodes - lmao

Truly an elegant solution. Clearly, I am syked!

Well first thing to point out is they are actually not putting the Crown Store item in first. This is to give players a chance to collect the recipe pieces and start crafting the items. Thank you ZOS.

Secondly it is more a pay for convenience than p2w. I welcome the drink and look forward to a better leveling arch now.

I'm more curious as to how this is already at traders for sale. 1 day and I've not seen anyone with a page much less one for sale. How could they have gotten all 7 pages in one day and started crafting already,,,,,, even if they bought them. 2 shots at getting a page per day per toon. It boggles the mind.

I've got one page... And I ain't selling it! I imagine there were a lot of people who got just one page and immediately put it on a guild store for an extravagant price, knowing that there would be some people willing to pay that price in order to be able to craft the drink right away and charge people an arm and a leg for it before it becomes widespread.

I don't think they should add rare gear sets(like Morag Tong) in the Crown Store.
