This is my view how they should have done this announcement
The "SOON(TM)" is pathetic!
This year for ESO should be content they have not shown before.
A roadmap with dates should be:The coming this year should be:
- DLC for new zone: Imperial City
- DLC for new zone: Orsinium
- DLC for new NPC guild: Dark Brotherhood
- DLC for new NPC guild: Thieves guild
- Next major update: Including lag fixes, Cyrodiil misc, new/updated game mechanics and the 3 new main quests. New global skills. Added tradeskills features and what else is in the normal major update.
It is NOT ok to keep saying "Soon" with the same content they promised, in detail since May 2014. You give dates. SOON is new things you are working on.
- New zone: X
- New game content like SPELLCRAFTING
- Champion system Phase 4
- Justice system Phase 2
- New features like an Arena or Dungeons
- RP features like horse racing
- Improved guild features
- Improved/new game mechanics X

Could somebody please post links as soon as they are publically available, please?
Here is the trailer. Looks cool and all but nothing about release date except for the "soon" default answer.
A card game that won't compete with Hearthstone and will die out ,
A cash shop mount
A promise of content to come that was already promised before
/ golf clap
You must be new here.Guys; Matt Firor talked a little bit about this in the console AMA last week. He confirmed we would not get any major announcements at the E3, but don't worry we will get major announcements THIS week. (he said, after the E3 which is next week)

It dosen't look good for ZOS. originally the plan for ZOS was that they should create games that required a subscription, that failed and the revenue model is now the same as the other games in the corpration. But with one major difference, the other games only require 2-3 DLC releases and then it's ok for them to forget the game and start developing a new game. The ZOS model basicly require them to continue development , and keep the servers running forever.
The other games tend to sell far better too, in the 5-10 million range. While ESO probably will sell less than 2 million total. While ZOS is barely breaking even, the other companies are cash machines.
If they don't belive in the subscription model anymore, then there's no reason for ZOS to exist basicly. They could just fade the game, and move on with the single player games.
Do the players even belive in ZOS anymore, if they invest 100m$ in another mmorpg through ZOS how will they know it will even break even and not make a massive loss like Funcom did with TSW?
I think the board will find other places to invest those 100m$.
