E3: Big announements from ESO today?

So today at 6:45pt Bethesda is holding their big E3 event! Pretty excited! Also really wondering if ESO is going to seize this opportunity to step up to the plate and reveal some info on the future of ESO!

The focus mainly seems to be gearing up to be Fallout 4 with little bites from other projects...but hopefully we get something about ESO though not holding my breath, has expect dishonored 2 to get more mentions then eso

Ugh so iv come to the conclusion that ESO's marketing department is run by Sheogorath because the lack of in development and future content news is maddening. Only the God of madness could be so diabolically silent....

I heard they are just going to play a rerun from QuakeCon 2014 with the Spellcrafting stuff removed.

Hopefully they show more.

haha that would be the kind of awesome, i can picture them standing together saing in choir "we have released on console, yay" then high fives eachother and put the same old but edited video up. That would definatly killing the PC side of the game lol.

My best guess(es)? Expect more regarding Fallout 4. This will likely be the bulk of the presentation - behind the scenes, info about a new engine, artists, etc. In regards to ESO, they will probably bring up the same information they presented at last year's QuakeCon (as someone above me mentioned) like the imminent release of Wrothgar, the Imperial City, the Dark Brotherhood, the Thieves Guild, etc. They'll comment on how overwhelming console release has been. They'll talk about things you can buy with crowns. In fact, if there was a Bethesda E3 drinking game, the phrases "Crown Store" and "Hard at work" would get you drunk faster than being locked in a bar with a bottle of viagra and a hundred fat chicks.

Oh. I'm going to hell. Sorry about that, if I offended anyone.

Would they really talk about Fallout 4 that much though? i highly doubt they'd spill every bit of info that have on the game. especially when its probably not going to be out for a couple of years! i really hope they say something about ESO especially since the Console is finally out, thus more people are playing!

Pre-orders are already available so it's looking like it will be available this holiday season. Honestly I think its better that many companies are adopting the "lets not announce something till its almost ready policy". I think its a lot easier on consumers and the companies instead of announcing something that is years away and will probably suffer many release push backs.

Interesting, idk i guess im just too use to companies who is all talk about games that arent even close to being released, and when its near we basically know every little detail that the game becomes lackluster! its one of the reasons why i barely buy new games now!

Bethesda has a significant track record of previewing a game and releasing said game during the same year. FO3 and Skyrim both got that treatment. I look forward to playing FO4 later this fall/early winter.

Would love to get some fresh update info on ESO though...

Nice one :-) but I seem to have to have a deja-vu :-)

My guess however - they will announce nothing new to PC players. My hope - announcing that new zones are not faction locked.

I suspect they believe keeping a tight lid on whats going on with current projects will shelter them from the anger of their playerbase....But its actually not helping them at all.

Sadly, there really isnt a good direction they can go. If they tell players what is coming, the players moan about it not being what they wanted..and then moan some more if the content has to be pushed back. And if they say nothing, then the players complain that there isnt enough communication.

Hopefully now that Console has launched. Zenimax will be able to get back into a 3-4 month Content rotation. If they release Imperial City with Wrothgar then they may be able to release Murkmire and Clockwork City 3-4 months later. Giving them time to work on the next round of content for a solid 6+ months.

They've said no news on anything new for ESO till sometime after E3.

They've already got the console money , they're done for a while.

E3 is all about Fallout 4 and Dishonored 2.

I see no credible way for them to put a positive spin on the current situation for ESO. Any statement now would be little but excuses and repeats of promises already made. Better to wait until they might possibly have something positive to say. I'm still hoping.
