As a vamp, I will tell you that getting it too early isn't *actually* a blessing. Learn your class, learn your race, and add it later if it synergizes with what you've built.
We PC players DO understand what it's like to have griefers locking down the market on bites and camping the spawns. This happened on PC at release as well. It WILL normlize. Vamp and werewolf bites WILL be plentiful.

I hear ya. And that would be aweful. I feel for ya. I'm kind of the opposite. I have constant anxiety that leads towards (or gives me a viable excuse) to be lazy. Try thinking about vampire as your end game. Or do the "take your thoughts to court" and try to change the vampire idea to end game for you. Tbh that would be great for your longevity as it would make your character feel fresh at v14 (or work towards it post v1 even).2 -

I think all of us want the player base to be healthy and full, so we try to be helpful in any way to keep people on the game. Is it possible for you to temporarily shelve this character's progress, creating any of the other 7 characters you are allowed, and playing them (with it in mind that they will NOT become vamps/wolves)? when you've finished that, you can come back to the vamp bite market and see if it is corrected.
btw, I doubt it takes 4-6 months. If the wait were 7 days to make a vampire, then the first derivative should be 1.5x where every x is a 7 day period. Multiplied by however many people want to give bites for free. Add in for people who want to sell bites for reasonable in-game amounts.
For what it is worth, I agree it is a complete injustice, and I wish there were a way for good players to band together and make it right. But honestly, the way that the solution is going to mimic what people do in real life to skirt monopolies/tyrants/injustice is going to be fun to watch. these greedy/fraudulent players may never get their comeuppance, but I'm pretty sure that someone, even from their own ranks, will destroy their oligopoly.
None of what I'm saying should excuse the devs from creating a system that allows fraud (even if you could argue the fraud is only possible on people capable of being manipulated without too much trouble.)

I like your thought process. But no I cant play that game anymore simply becuz ZOS allows this. I think its a awesome game but i cant support a game that the makers allow common every day trolls control how ppl play their game. And plus let me fill you in on one thing. not all but at least 65% of the people on esotu are spawn camping the vamp spawns. then they say they will sell a bite. if you dont get scammed you can get charged as much as 40$ psn cash for a single bite. but in my own experience they wont sell it legitly. they scam then if you dont fall for it they block you and con another player. which means no one gets a bite.
Now with every spawn in all three alliances are being camped to the point and i counted today the vamps only stay alive for about 4 to 8 seconds. Not long enuff to infect anyone. As a veteran of many, many group and solo therapy sessions can you break down why/what it is about the Vampire play style that is making you want it so badly?
Perhaps then instead of just slinging insults at each other, some the many helpful people who frequent these Forums can give you suggestions of other skills or abilities that might tide you over until the Vamp bite frenzy has settled down a bit.
I know you believe that it's not going to slow down any time soon, true it might take a bit longer on PS4 if people are actually paying real money for them BUT every week there will be more and more bites available as peoples timers kick in......
So eventually the kiddies camping out the spawn points will have no-one to scam.

Ok dont laugh but the only real reason i want vampirism is becuase i've been fasenated by vampires my hole life and the reason i love this series so much is the fact i can be a vampire. Its not about the skills or benifits. and i know vamps are weak to fire that is why i run a dunmer.

That is a totally fine explanation and one I truly understand, my 19yr old was beyond excited when Dawnguard came out for Skyrim and thought I was sooo wrong for going with the 'other' side......
Unfortunately it sort of rules out any useful help and advice, to keep you going in the meantime........
I would still urge you to hang on in there, if you can, it is truly worth it.

As a veteran of many, many group and solo therapy sessions can you break down why/what it is about the Vampire play style that is making you want it so badly?
Perhaps then instead of just slinging insults at each other, some the many helpful people who frequent these Forums can give you suggestions of other skills or abilities that might tide you over until the Vamp bite frenzy has settled down a bit.
I know you believe that it's not going to slow down any time soon, true it might take a bit longer on PS4 if people are actually paying real money for them BUT every week there will be more and more bites available as peoples timers kick in......
So eventually the kiddies camping out the spawn points will have no-one to scam.
Although to my knowledge RL money was never asked for on PC we DID have people camping out all the spawn points and killing the spawns before they could infect anyone and this did go on for some time.
I suppose my basic question is......
What are you looking for from being a Vampire?
and lets see if our combined brains can't help you find that elsewhere in the short term BECAUSE this is a really awesome game that you will really enjoy playing with your friends and family.
Ok first you and alot of people will probably say i'm nuts for this but i'll be honest becuz you seem decent.
Ok dont laugh but the only real reason i want vampirism is becuase i've been fasenated by vampires my hole life and the reason i love this series so much is the fact i can be a vampire. Its not about the skills or benifits. and i know vamps are weak to fire that is why i run a dunmer.

That is a totally fine explanation and one I truly understand, my 19yr old was beyond excited when Dawnguard came out for Skyrim and thought I was sooo wrong for going with the 'other' side......
Unfortunately it sort of rules out any useful help and advice, to keep you going in the meantime........
I would still urge you to hang on in there, if you can, it is truly worth it.

✭✭✭✭✭So I should mention in this thread, just for the sake of lulz, that I was one of the very first vampires in ESO on the PC, and to date have bitten 59 people. (Those of you that got your bite from Kailiana, you are welcome =D)
Random chance blessed me. I sold that bite for all I could get for it at the start, and the average price since.
I have never been ripped off, and I have never ripped anyone off.
I think its just console players that act this way.

I can put money that it's pc transfers that are camping the mobs and not just "console" players. That's why I got bit before the transfer and I give out free bites on xb1. Just have to catch me in game cause I can't be bothered to spam it. Lol.0

FancyTuna8✭✭✭Someone raised a good point about pc transfers. They must be the majority of infected, so the people turning this on console players might be in error.
As far as zenimax, this is going beyond the issue it had on pc if people are charging money. Obviously, it's Tickle-Me-Elmo all over again, and you should come up with a solution because these players badly want their giggling stuffed character.
Like if you defeat someone with vampirism in PVP you can jam your wrist into their fangs and force a free bite. Whatever. You come up with your plausible fix. Random spawns that can't be controlled seems pretty easy.0
