having trouble with sending gold and attachments

Everytime I try to send mail to a friend it says that therein no person with that name? Even though I am 100 percent positive it's correct

Are you trying to send to a character name or a user ID?

Precisely what are you entering as the recipients name and what is the exact message you're getting which tells you the name you entered isn't correct?

I've tried character name, user ID, and gamertag. Everytime this pops up "there is no player with that name"

I also receive that message, however it happens even if I try to send just a regular message with no attachments or gold. I have tried Gamertag, in game name, nothing works.

I had one friend send me a message with gold attached and I cold receive it, but I am unable to send any sort of message.
"Error
There is no player with that name."

Is exactly what pops up everytime.

I can send messages on the EU server to one of my friends in Europe, but when Im on the NA server I am unable to send any message to anybody in the game on the NA server, period. I am wondering if this has something to do with me using the EU server for a couple hours on day 1 since I couldnt get into the NA server. It seems as though the game thinks Im playing in the EU server even though Im in the NA (definitley connected through NA.) I even deleted my EU character and I still cant send any messages on the NA server.

It doesnt matter if I select their name and then "send message," or if I type it in manually, Nothing works

I'm in the same boat, tried to send message to Guild master but said it didn't recognise him. If I figure it out I'll let you know

IF everyone here is on Xbox, and IF the person you are sending mail to has a space in their gamertag.. this definitely could be the issue

[New 6/15] Unable to send mail: We've seen reports that you sometimes cannot send or receive mail. This appears to be caused by spaces in a player's Xbox Gamertag. We're actively working on a fix for this.

If that's not your issue, sorry, not sure what to tell you. Would be a good idea to keep an eye on that thread if you are playing on console though.
