new to crafting set pieces need help

ok so when its asking for 4 traits does that mean i need 4 traits for that one item or just 4 traits unlocked cause iv done 4 traits for my light armor items just not 4 on each

✭✭Yes, it means 4 traits on every item you want to craft for that set. That's why when researching, it pays to plan a little. Focus on researching equipment you plan to use, and the traits you want to use with them. Best are reinforced and infused for armor, and sharpened and precise for weapons. There are a few others, like impenetrable that can be useful, but most of the other traits have limited or no value. ✭✭I use a LOT of divines, but really just depends on how you do you build

Oops.....yeah, I was remiss in not mentioning that. It's fairly typical to use Infused trait on the major pieces (head, chest, legs, shield), and divines on the rest. That's how I craft my armor.
