everyone playing console thats new be aware that pc transfers are scamming people out of gold for vamp and ww bites. guild member just got ripped off for 10k. be aware..

I'm PC only, but would be offended if I were a transfer at this accusation.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!1 -

✭✭✭✭✭This should have already been known to be a possibility. On PC we tell people not to ever pay because the exact same thing happened at PC launch. People buying.selling bites, and people getting scammed. Don't pay for bites and you won't be scammed. Seriously.
As well, please remember for anyone looking for bites, to post on the megathread, and do not keep adding people asking if they can bite. It feels like spam after awhile.
I also agree that the title should have nothing to do with PC transfers.. But I do agree with you that people shouldn't be buying bites, because there is a very real possibility of getting scammed. Last summer on PC many players were paying 5-10k for bites. Sure it sounds outrageous but gold is not hard to come by in this game. This by no means sounds like a scam. Sounds like your friend made a poor decision.1 -

@mtwiggz the scam part comes into play when someone's offers a bite for 10k, a player pays them for 10k, and proceeds NOT to bite the player who paid.
