Don't let people tell you there is no endgame. I've been playing at VR14 for over 6 months. If you don''t want to run trials, DSA or vDSA, don't want to run the pledges for great gear and fun, don't want to try and get no-deaths, speed runs, hardmodes and leaderboards, don't want to play vet pvp. Yeah I guess there isn't an endgame. When you first hit VR14 you won't be close to the best gear you can have. The only thing missing is true single player endgame, though that can be found by running delves in Cyrodil. There is also a single player zone that is supposed to be released "soon".

They need more content desperately but there are many hours of endgame.

I'm loving the gameplay, but there's one thing that has me frustrated. Communicating with people!
Voice chat hasn't 100% worked for me, and there is no text chat. I'm playing an MMO, and yet I can't really communicate with anybody.
    Xbox One/PC, North America.

The game does look great, but so very boring. I feel like im doing the same thing over and over again..with no real freedom in this game

My advise, get off the quest train. You can level from 1 - VR14 without doing a single side quest. Just look for delves, anchors, world bosses, public dungeons, group dungeons and jump in some PvP. The skyshard hunt should be more challenging on console. You will want to do the main, fighters and mages guild quest lines but they scale so you can do them when ever. On my alts I turn off the quest giver icons and just run around. I don't fall behind in my leveling. If you quest all day it gets very boring and you get overleveled, making it worse. You can skip out a zone early it won't hurt. I will say there are some fun side quest but there are also a lot of run around and talk to people ones.

I've heard that you can use text phrases they put in game. I heard it works pretty well. I'm actually thinking I'm going to mod the pc with something like that. You can't exactly type in the middle of combat and I don't always play with VoIP.

I do think they should let you add your own text phrases though. That would solve the problems imo.

I'm really loving the game right now on Xbox, however...

I should be in the late 30's on my Sorcerer but due to a game breaking bug which means I can't now log back into that character until I'm moved, I'm pretty miffed.

A5ko ▪ High Elf ▪ Sorcerer ▪ Aldmeri Dominion ▪ XBOX One ▪ EU Megaserver

That's happened on PC also. It's pretty rare, you shouldn't see it more than once in your time playing the game.
