I am fairly sure that most PC players wouldn't be unhappy to see a thread entitled:

"[console] How do you think it plays?"

Rather than that, what we currently seem to be getting are matters such as Justice, Crafting [Runes and Provisioning for example] quest completion or vampirism/lycanthropy all of which have been discussed before and so are less likely to encourage a positive response from the non-console denizens of GD.

That is why I had the "maybe" in there.
I have found that in this life there are no "absolutes". (lol)

I have been around MMO forums since Ultima Online was released, and have noticed that after a while things tend to "find their own level".

I also always try to use brakets "[PS4]", or "[Console]" if I am sober enough to remember to do it when I am talking to a specific groups of readers.
It makes it easier for readers to find what they want to read, and it somewhat keeps trolls out of my garden.

You behave like a spoiled child. Hundreds of thousands of people suddenly joined the game and they all have questions. It's great, it means the game is growing and it's up to us to make them feel welcome - not create passive-aggresive threads such as this. You were once a newcomer too. Please try to be understanding. We had zone chat to ask questions in, they don't have even that. Yes, some of these questions could be answered with a quick Google search, but the reality of every forum out there is that people don't google. So take a deep breath and stick it out. If you can't, maybe it's time to take a break from the forum and come back when the launch chaos has died down?

The General Discussion forum, for any game, is always dominated by the most recent big change, until the next one is released. When I started that was B2P, then update 6, then the crown store, then it briefly went back to how they never release anything, then console launch, interspaced with crown store topics until those got their own section. Once the console launch stops being the new big thing it will move on to something else (hopefully new DLC being announced).

I own a Mac as well as 2 desktop PCs and 2 laptops. I can play most of my library on every machine except my oldest laptop.I have zero conflict with Mac users as do most other PC users. ( Even though it is essentially an underperforming hipster Linux.)
Both sets of users do, however, have serious problems with one entity. An entity which is virulently hated and probably half responsible for this debacle: Microsoft.
PC users have 3 big reasons to hate Microsoft.
1. Games for Windows Live
2. Window 8
3. The XP cataclysm.
Microsoft is also largely the reason PC and Console don't cross platform. In addition to all the other isolation and forced upgrades they force on users.

The hate is very strong for them.

As annoying as it is the console users posting their opinions, questions, thoughts, etc. are no different in the first few months of this game starting out on PC. As a matter of fact I'd say a lot of the posts are exactly the same type of posts that people posted. Console was just release so if any of you were around when this game was very first launched and I'm talking about the five day pre order bonus release then the forum will look very familiar. And YES for those that are thinking "we" were never this bad, yes it was this bad. So all we can do is sit back, relax, and wait the six or seven months for the console users to get used to the game and all the bugs worked out.

By that logic then every PC Player should put [PC] before their titles. But wait. It doesnt really matter because besides the UI and a difference in buttons pressed. Its the same game and no question is less important then another.

If the thread is 'beneath' your PC Master Race. Then dont post in it. Simple as that.

It is different this time around. I have explained why it is different this time around. And I was here from day 1 of early access. Of course it was bad in the first few days of the game in early access. Nobody knew anything for certain. We are now one year on. This is not the case now.

Why do we expect the forums to be different this time? Because time itself has past... and if you give console players any credit at all then you would hope that they would be able to use Search as well as post topics on the correct board. So why do we have to assume that they are unable to either learn or read just to allow for the behaviour we are seeing? I prefer to think that console players can both learn and read (having been one). So why is it a lot to ask that these skills are actually used?

Let them have the forums, the deserve that (and our pity) for having to live with their vanilla ui. Let them wallow in thier false sense of superiority while we enjoy FTC, Wykkyd's suite, and many other delightful addons. The general discussion section is their starter zone /z.

I own both PC and PS4 versions of this game. If all that matters to you are graphics and frame rate then yes the PC version is superior. If you value actual play experience the console version is superior. The game is much more enjoyable with a controller and the UI on the console is also superior. Not to mention that everyone's using the same hardware so from a competitive standpoint console wins here as well. I also enjoy the fact that I'm not forced to use specific addons in order to stay competitive on my PS4.

This is a mute topic elder scrolls has been a console game since morrowwind pc sales pf an elder scrolls game at most is only 10% it helps us on pc as we will soon get more content quicker if it really takes of on console and sells like the rest ie: skyrim

Hey! I resemble that! I was on a mac before I went to the XB1.

The PC master race could act more like a kind big brother and help and sympathize with the new players instead of stamping their feet at the invasion and sneering at the noobs. Console player's questions and concerns mirror those of the PC and will simmer down to quiet (or not so quiet) grumbles over time. What you're really unhappy about is the attention console is getting that you think should be all yours.
