Makes me happy that a lot of folks are really enjoying it. This will bode well for PC sales as well.

    Don't forget to use roll!!!!

Ya the games content is great, still horrible wait times to play and it crashes on me every 30 mins. Not sure why this is only effecting certain players, no one will answer me

I wouldn't call TESO a success! Servers that can't handle the traffic are always a problem but the amount of bugs is unacceptable!

I've been playing all week, and it is everything I expected from an Elder Scrolls MMO. All I have heard in the past year since it launched on PC is how terrible it is, I don't get it. This game is beautiful, I love it. The first two days there was a lot of crashing and lag but they straightened everything out very quickly, I think it was relatively smooth for an MMO console launch. Kudos to the devs and all the people behind the scenes...this was SO worth the wait!

Best online experience me and my friends have had together even with all the initial teething problems

As an huge elder scrolls and mmo fan I just want to give a big thanks to Zenimax for bbringingus this amazing game and it looks gorgeous and already plays well on xbox one. Great job zos but remember to keep it true to TES as you build on.

I think it's going a lot better than I thought it would. I mean, you have the typical console people who haven't ever played an MMO and don't understand what a launch is like, but overall it's been a blast. Personally, I've only been kicked out of game like 4 times since launch and any time in the queue is less than 10 minutes. Other than some key features I hope they add in, I've been thoroughly impressed how well the game translates from PC to console. GG, Zeni

    Queues.
    Lag.
    More Lag.
    Insanely long loading screens.
    PS4 application crashes.
    Kicks to logon screen.
Random loading screens in the middle of combat.
Bugs like stamina/magicka bars stuck on screen at all times and party members map markers missing.
Complaint threads being squelched, deleted, and locked.
No viable way to communicate with guild members or organize guild activities.
No way to do live trading.
No way to ask for help with bosses, quests, dolmens, etc, without players in voice chat range (and most players have it disabled).
Deaf players basically cannot even play the game.
PvP is beyond unfair due to PC character transfers that can win 20 versus 1.
Zenimax support taking too long to official acknowledge major server issues.

and.... the worst offense of all....PSN/gamertags visible instead of character names

No offence to the deaf community because I can see how not having a text chat can be very bothersome, but it doesn't make it unplayable. I played the entire day today on console without any sound and managed to see the game with my eyes just as fine as when I wear headphones.

The journey is great, but endgame isnt even nearly there, but you thing is there lots of it, do main story and Cadwell's silver and gold, you're looking at easily 300 hour of content.
  • dloke86ub17_ESO
I'm really loving it. I've encountered zero bugs. The only issue I've had is the lag before the maintenance. But that's to be expected while they optimize the server with load it gets.

I'm enjoying it so far. For 53 bucks it certainly beats a bad adventure game where you might get 20 hours in.

I believe he is also speaking of the lack of subtitling for the npc speech as well. I have read a few other threads of people bringing up the lack of subtitles.

I may be missing something here, but I seem to be perfectly able to play without the sound. NPC characters for story's have sub's, I can emote link my character to speak. Is the bad connection just PS EU as my friends on Xbox EU don't seem to have any issues (Xbox minority?)

Good to hear you're enjoying yourself, all of the "OMG DIS GAME SUKZ, BAK 2 FARMVILLELOL" threads gets quite tiresome. You have a great month or two ahead of you, I very much enjoyed my first playthrough.

It does not matter if they waited another month, year or 10 years. When it comes to launch days in games that are this popular there is no way they can prepare for what is going to happen. They are slowly adding servers and updating server software to allow this to get better. Granted they made a lot of money selling the million(s) of boxes but they have to order more servers to add to the already mountain of servers they have. It costs money and time and takes a few days for the extra hardware to get here. I'm sure today being Saturday they have more coming in today and hopefully Monday if all works out they won't have to order more.

Again with the megaserver as time goes on they will learn more and help with games like this in the future. I said it before EQ, AC, WOW all have helped make online gaming better with MMO's but there are still a ways to go before they can get it to work the way they want. Don't forget with the old way of playing people cried because there would not be enough players online to play with. But now megaservers is going to finally end that complaint and make us all happy to kill each other online. So sit back enjoy this because we are all going to be better off!

Launch day was frustrating, but somewhat expected. After waiting an additional year the anticipation was killing me, as I'm sure it was everyone else. However, once finally being able to play the game I must say the wait was well worth it. Of course there are still some kinks that need to be worked out but all together the game is beautiful and very enjoyable. I heard a lot of negative feedback from pc users but I disagree with them and knew that I would.

The game does look great, but so very boring. I feel like im doing the same thing over and over again..with no real freedom in this game
