Why do some of you PC players try to act so superior, does it make you feel good or something? Bc it sounds childish really.
But back to OP, I love the game, ya the launch was aggravating but the game itself is great so far

It's because console players are the first outsiders we can actually interact with. We are lonely.

I bought this game on Xbox because that's where all my friends are at.

If people are praising it, it's because they are legitimately enjoying it and haven't had the major issues you have encountered. I'm playing it as I'm writing this, been playing for the past hour and a half with no problems. It sucks that you're having issues, but when buying a new released MMO, you should buy at your own risk, because there will always be issues to be fixed.

The 'talk about fanboys' is because this game has come followers that insist everything this perfectly fine and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, irrespective of the evidence to the contrary. Indeed, ZoS have even made their own fanboy program recently.
You appear to recognise that just because you are not having problems, others might be, unlike some who cannot grasp that possibility. Those that had been around for the PC launch might have noticed that people declared the same only to have ZoS finally acknowledge that the problems -did- exist.
Having said that ESO does have lots of good points, but it is not without faults.
As for those that spit out "quit" to anyone who dares to admit to having an in-game issue - remember how that worked out for you guys the first time around, the same ones that vehemently declared the game would never be anything other than a subscription model.
@SHADOW2KK Balanced post - a rarity on this forums.
Lol um thanks I think, I am honest and speak my mind, bluntly:P
And to be honest, I have done a number of balanced posts, so hardly a rarity:P

Like many I was unable to actually play the game, I waited at the login screen for 3 hours, finally I gave up. Went to bed, and was actually able to get on and create my character, but was kicked of many times. Today I haven't been able to stay connected for longer than 15 minutes at a time without being booted out. The wait times in between are completely unreasonable. They had a year to get this together, failed on pc release, and now console. The amount of money people spend on this game/franchise, you'd think they'd finally do something right, give the fans what they want. The game is awesome, I just wish I'd be able to play it. i know there are a lot of fanboys that will defend them, and talk about other game releases not going so well, but I've been on a few call of duty games where the release went smoothly and the servers held the massive amounts of players on there. But I'm finally able to log on, so I guess I'll be back in about 15 minutes when I get kicked off to see if this has been deleted. Get it together guys. I'd like a consistent experience.

@SHADOW2KK I didn't mean that you specifically are prone to unbalanced ranting simply that lots of posts -by others- lack any empathy whatsoever.

It's perfectly normal to feel that way, but you can't call me a fanboy because of it. It's just my experience. if I had a bad one, I would mention it. But then, that would make me a "hater". lol You can never win on the forums. You're either a blind fanboy, or a hater.

@DeanWinchester88 Dean I was not saying you were a fanboy, simply that the tag exists because there are many posters who will defend ZoS to the hilt, even in the face of overriding evidence to the contrary. Your first post mentioned others having problems, and thus I did acknowledge that you indeed recognise the possibility. I agree that there is a middle ground between 'fanboy' and 'hater' but both insults are used against many that sit on that middle ground.
@SHADOW2KK As with you Shadow - you too recognise both sides and I wasn't asserting otherwise.

Oh I know you weren't. I am aware of those posters you speak of. I was just speaking in general, nobody is a fanboy just for speaking positively about the game, and nobody is a hater for speaking negatively. People just speak from their own experience. However, anybody that tries to claim that someone is lying for having a different experience than them, is only hurting the community. There's always two sides of the table, we should all just get along and pray to the Nine Divines so that we all may game in peace.

Well, they had fun doing the main quest and playing a bit of PvP, but hardly anything that warranted the price tag.Lava_Croft wrote: »Got 4 friends to buy ESO, one of which even got the physical Imperial Edition on pre-order.
