Pro forum tip...If you want people to read what you put out there, try a little sentence structure.

That is one of the worst that I've seen.

Eh ignore, the so-called pro-tip. People will read the sentence if for no other reason to make a smarky comment online about it, as was just the case.

Now to your point. Its Friday. Its the first week of a newly launch MMO on consoles that don't tend to get MMO's...yeah, there's going to be some issues. If these issues still go on after a few more weeks, then you probably have some room to complain. But as of right now, this is standard stuff we always see on launches.

Sounds lame and annoying.

Hopefully it will all be a distant memory next week. There were some great patches that came out on PC those first few weeks.

I love how people still pretend console MMO gaming is some new thing.

Final Fantasy XI online for PS2 -- older than WoW

Also went to Xbox360 some time during 2007 or '08

DCUO hit PS3 maybe 2009? There were a bunch of childish, F2P MMORPGs that flunked on the PS3 during this time.

Final Fantasy XIV-ARR in 2013 on PS3 and again in 2014 on PS4.

I'm not mentioning anything that isn't a strict MMORPG because lets face it, there's nothing massive about sandbox shooters or arena based MP games.

Sorta glossed over the OP, and barely read your other post but to be honest, a lot of people won`t read a rant that has no basis in grammar or not easy to read.

But about the gist of what I did read, you been playing for what?, a few hours and seem to want everything now?

A wee bit instant gratification style rant it seems to be, could be wrong....

You can play the game anyway you want, and put in as much time as you want.

PC launch had issues too, most games do have issues, annoying as it is.

Zeni does not expect you or more than likely care if you run around farming for a few weeks, lol, most of us have been running around farming here and there for more than a year.

If you do not wanna build stockpiles of mats and high value mats or w/e for varying operations, then don`t.

Game does have a number of issues aye, but it is a great game as well, and there is a lot to enjoy in the game, regardless of what you put into it.

You are gonna love the CP and Vet grind in that case if you cannot seemingly handle farming in the early game:P
Although Vet ranks will be taken away at some point allegedly.

Like any game, you get out what you put in.

I could be wrong in my assumptions on your posts, but to be fair having now tried to read it properly, that it does not clearly show a problem within the actual game, but more about launch issues, which annoying as it is, at least has some merit.

And I am not a MMO player, ESO is the first one I have properly played, come more from a FPS/Strategy gamer background and obviously TES.

But there is progressiveness in the game, on all areas, like in most games, put in the effort, reap the rewards.

About farming again, you can build a stockpile of mats, deconstruct stuff, and gather legendary mats, or find legendary mats, which go for good gold.
You can train up on varying crafting professions and hire your services out to friends and guildies, and make a ton of gold doing so, like many of us have and still do.

It is your game, play it how you want however.

Yep, you missed the whole thing there.
OP is ranting about bugs, not progress.

Not entirely, although I did not address a couple of issues he raised in a couple of posts OP made, about not being able to do some quests, is that because of a lack of skill ? or level?, or simply cos the game is bugged.

It it not clear.

But he did refer to 3/4 hours of farming as being somehow terrible or something and bad for the game, which I really do not understand at all, that is not bugs, that is progress.

So hardly missing the whole thing, not that it was really ever clear to begin with IMO

Maybe OP can ask in zone about game mechanics or something

Pretty solid comment there. One thing to point out is that FFXIV-ARR was actually a re-release of a game because they screwed up the first launch so badly. I had beta tested original on PC and totally forgot about the experience until I bought ARR for ps3. When they launched ARR for ps3 the first few weeks was full of bugs, patches, and not being able to play just like this. They gave players an extra few months of free play before the subscription kicked in because of all the issues.

This game is kind of similar to the release of FFXIV. It is an already established MMORPG that has a player base which has been playing the game for quite a while now. It is simply coming out for two new platforms so there shouldn't be a slew of problems.

I assume you are on console or something? or barely even played the game or really know anything about the game or its mechanics at all?

The game is the game, you get out what you put in, it requires effort, not instant gratification or a utter ignorance of how the game really is.

Im pretty certain, if you know what you are looking for, you can gather enough mats outside your initial city to make one of everything in about an hour or two without going out of your way to get them. With the exception of enchanting. Man enchanting blows to level. Can't imagine console players trying to find enchanting buddies. Do they know about that yet?

Exactly, yeah enchanting takes a wee while to level up, but there are ways to make it easier.
