No subtitles for PS4 players

So guess ESO got lazy and forgot they had hearing impaired/deaf players among the PS4 players so wondering when will they add them in ?

    It's ... Kind of an obvious troll dude lol.... They will 100% not add subtitles tomorrow.

    Yeah, I'm kind of pissy about it to be honest.

    Same for Xbox, can't understand 80% of the game since the people relaying the story to me do nothing since I can't read their text.

    Although for what I've seen of the writing and such so far, it's not really that important for me.

    Definately needed. Chat for the deaf as well. Almost like they completely forgot about 'em.

    Besides of the non-existant text chat, no subtitles either??? I really start to loathe this company for not considering the deaf or hearing impaired people!

    I'm not on console, nor am I deaf or hearing impaired myself, but I feel so sorry for those who are and would like to play the game on console! ZOS has messed up a lot of things already, but this is by far the worst!

    I agree. Hell even WWE has subtitles, and they are live every Monday night.

    That fact shows how prescripted WWE is...... it's impossible to have subtitles the moment they are spoken, or even hours later. It takes a full two days before subtitles can be made for a show.

    As for the topic itself: I want them as well. Not hard of hearing nor deaf at all, I just want them incase I don't hear or understand an NPC, so I can just read what they said.

    Oh I am pretty sure the subtitites are live Monday night but they are garbage lol. They misspell a ton of words and even add in words that were never spoken in the dialogue. My step dad is hearing impaired and I have seen them every Monday night for a few years. This is on satellite TV fyi.

    I need subtitles too.
    I have two TVs right next to each other, and my Wife watches shows on the other one while I play games on mine. And, she tends to get upset if I have loud games drowning out her shows.
    If my headset is charging there is just no way for me to know what anybody is saying.
    Need some subtitle love, people. :)

    They have said they are looking into it. Since all the text exists already, it's just a matter of them getting on with implementing a display format that they are happy with.
