Smartglass implementation for in-game email system?

Would LOVE to see smartglass allowed to be used within the game for in-game email. I can bring up the controls but they dont work in game.
Also...I keep reading that people want text chat and that everyone can just use bluetooth keyboards. The opposing side says that's too cumbersome.
The smartglass keyboard is a perfect solution here. Typing with your phone is super fast and most everyone has a smart phone sitting next to them when they play.

An area text chat or something akin to that would be great. Would love to see something like this implemented. Nothing else in the chat box area. Just your chat box.0
