Why cant EOS allow universal connections? Like pc and ps4 and xbone players can all use the same server

✭✭✭✭✭Because Microsoft explicitly doesn't allow it and the other manufacturers are probably not keen on the idea either.
There is no technical reason why they couldn't use a unified protocol for the data shared between the client and the servers.

At any rate... THE XBONE, PS4, and PC all use different versions of the game... I'll just say they're not compatible with each other.Please Refer to my Blacksmith Manual
