Enemy glows green when hit with arrow?

What's that mean?

    green glow is poison, so the bow is probably doing poison damage

    Being effected by poison, you or the enemy, also means healing received by potions or spells is lowered.

    There is a cool down on the enchantments, so you won't get this on each shot.

    Also, check the bow once in a while, the charge gets used up over time. You refill it with a filled soul gem, same thing you resurrect yourself or another character with.

    Not using any enchantments at the moment. Just regular bow hits and the enemies glow green.

    It's probably Poison Arrow, which is the first bow ability you unlock.

    Isn't that glow more yellow-like?
    I hope i'm not going color blind! But to me the loot glow looks very much green.

    The poison glow is a darker shade of green for me ...

    The loot glow is definitely like a yellow
