If you enjoy the game yes, help bring in new players to generate revenue for the company. They can hire more help and get more done. They just had a change in staffing as well.
Consider your other MMO alternatives. The grass isn't always greener and this is coming from the guy who has played just about every single major MMO title since EverQuest. ESO is a rose in the desert, despite it's issues. Continue to support the game we love, and there's a better chance for changes to occur. Telling people to quit, well...that's not going to help anyone.

Yet you have been playing since then? Must be a complete mess.

When the last expansion of World of Warcraft was released, it was the same thing.
I was in a queue, with a position of about 30,000 in front of me.
30,000
The game was laggy for a few weeks, then settled down.
I logged on just to check out the queue times.
Everyone that has experience with new expansions KNOWS you don't plan on doing anything in the game for the first week or two.
Bugs, unexpected loads, tweaks, mini-patches, mini-updates, servers going up and down while they work to resolve the issues.
I'm glad to see people playing the game but it really feels you guys are expecting an MMO to behave like a frickin single player first person shooter.

Like many I was unable to actually play the game, I waited at the login screen for 3 hours, finally I gave up. Went to bed, and was actually able to get on and create my character, but was kicked of many times. Today I haven't been able to stay connected for longer than 15 minutes at a time without being booted out. The wait times in between are completely unreasonable. They had a year to get this together, failed on pc release, and now console. The amount of money people spend on this game/franchise, you'd think they'd finally do something right, give the fans what they want. The game is awesome, I just wish I'd be able to play it. i know there are a lot of fanboys that will defend them, and talk about other game releases not going so well, but I've been on a few call of duty games where the release went smoothly and the servers held the massive amounts of players on there. But I'm finally able to log on, so I guess I'll be back in about 15 minutes when I get kicked off to see if this has been deleted. Get it together guys. I'd like a consistent experience.

The beta, they knew how many people would be playing or that many copies of the game wouldn't have been playing. I'm still gonna play the game, but I'm also gonna complain when the release was this horrible, you kids just keep up the excuses, im sure you're making yourselves feel better, and making them feel better, now they know when they mess up, their fan base is going to be ok with it each and every time.

Boy, do I feel like a total jackass now. None of them play anymore.

If you are ready to give the game a bad review because of NORMAL mmorpg issues the first 48 HOURS then you are part of the problem.
Comments like this are hilarious. You know this game is more than a year old right? Its not the first 48 hours of an MMO release, its a rush of players in a 15 month old MMO...a rush THEY WERE EXPECTING. On a platform they built and operated for over a year.
Its called capacity planning. If I was asked to provision hardware and make sure to scale test the system months in advance of a release (with lots of dev resources, this was priority #1 for the team), and failed so utterly and completely to properly estimate required capacity lets just say my boss would be placing a job ad for my position.

Just sayin.
