Voice chat not working??
Is anyone else having this issue where voice chat won't work at all? I have a headset and mic etc, and for the first day I was able to voice chat and join that Area chat etc, now when I try to join it says it's not working and may be due to maintenance, yet i can't find anything about it not currently working. Grimnaur✭✭✭I have the same issue. Mine hasn't worked at all yet on my Xbox. I have had no way at all to communicate with anyone in game (besides emotes). It is getting frustrating. I sent a support ticket on the 9th but I haven't heard anything yet.
I have tried 2 different headsets. They both work on console party chat, but not ESO voice chat. It always says voice chat is unavailable.“Laugh whenever you can. Keeps you from killing yourself when things are bad. That and vodka.” - J.B.1 -

It was the middle of the night, and I was up playing a game, all alone and I hear; "Hey Look out!".
I completely forgot about the voice chat and jumped right out of my skin!
I "yelped" and my Wife woke up and aasked why I was laughing so hard.EQUALIZE ALL PLATFORMS!

its been doing the exact same thing on my xbox for at least an hour straight. I already tried logging... GT: SizedMountain4

✭✭I really think Zenimax should add a "push-to-talk" or to not automatically put players in the Voice chat and "force" players to manually join the voice chat of their choice if they wish so.
I've been in the situation where I forgot to leave the chat after a disconnection. I'm streaming, and so constantly speaking... I didn't realised I was on Voice chat until someone asked me nicely (but also visibly very annoyed) "Can you please stop to yell"
I was super embarassed! I really don't want be annoying to other players!
Also this can be "dangerous", let's imagine I've some issue at home, and can't cut the voice chat before to deal with those issues... It can be an intrusion in intimacy.
i really believe that a solution should be bring to this matter.

im on xboxone and in voice chat u see poeple names go off and everything so i tihnk people r talking but my mic not going off and i can't hear anyone0

Gerardopg✭✭✭I always have the same issue with the Xbox one just a everyday problem.... Just hard reset the console and then make sure when you turn it on again you have the headphones and mic already plugged, it always work for me like this0

Not why it happens, however I've noticed when I sometimes log in the voice chat has turned itself off.
The headset I'm using is a PC headset, Logitech G35, while it's not supported on the PS4 it infact works fine both, before and after the patch, so I know that isn't the problem.0
