I'm new to ESO and I'd like to make a character that I can play solo that's high in damage.

For pvp, Nightblades are over the top. Big burst, high mobility, rogue like etc.
If you want mage variant, then go with Sorcerer.Welkynd [Templar/AD/EU]0 -

✭✭Definitely between stamina based Nightblade and Magicka based Sorcerer for PvP.

✭✭✭Magicka templar. You can solo all game from start to upper Craglorn with the first skill you actually get.Spears ftw.

Kobaal✭✭✭✭✭Sorc is what this guys wants. They have the best of all worlds. Highest mobility, highest DPS, most bubbles/damage absorb. The most OP class in the game if you know how to play it.

ttschreinerSoul ShrivenI've found that it's how you develop whatever is your liking to build a good solo character. I only have time to play on weekends and sometimes not at all on weekends. Just tweak around with your characters. From level 1 - 10 your should get a feel on a character to decide if it's going to work out for you or not. Like it took me a while that I wasn't really feeling up to a Redguard Nightblade. Other people might actually like it though. It's all about yourself really. It's a role playing game. Possibilities are endless.0
