Oh so nothing specific for different console users then? :o
Apart from the Guild Recruitment and support forums, no. People have been asking for them a lot, but ZoS doesn't seem to want to budge.

You're in it. Along with XB1 and PC forums for general talk.
Unless you meant Guild Recruit or Support, they have their own forums.

Awe okay thanks ... I'm an older gamer and I hate wasting time reading threads only to realise they aren't related to my particular system. Hopefully something will be sorted soon.

They decided it was not necessary in the long run, apparently because most things you should be talking about in General Discussion are not related to any specific platform. I agree with that in theory, since the game is the same on all platforms and only the bugs and technical issues are platform-specific, but I would like to see a "Console Feedback" section added so the threads about "we want this/that/the other on console" are separated.

Honestly it wouldnt hurt them to add two more General Discussions for the three systems. I suspect that this is more to do with policing the forums then anything else.

I can still remember when they didnt have an actual General Discussion forum and the players took it upon themselves to hijack Players Help Players Forum for the de facto General Discussion.

I dont think that sort of tactic would work again. Its hard to figure out what sort of pressure works with ZOS and what doesnt. They seem to bend to the oddest things while also refusing to budge on other topics that couldnt harm anything.

There are platform-specific forums for the Support and Guild Recruitment sections, but we don't currently have plans to add platform-specific forums for general discussion. Things are expectedly hectic during launch, but we're already seeing discussion moving more towards game-related topics, and support issues are more consistently being posted in the Support forums; we're actively moving and consolidating threads to support this.

We don't want to add platform-specific forums for general discussion, as this enforces a divide in the community, can result in redundancy of platform-neutral topics, and has the potential of siphoning off the support forums. We also don't want to add forums for launch activity and find that General Discussion is no longer inundated with these topics post-launch. During PC/Mac launch there were many platform threads in GD, but now they're relatively uncommon. We may consider structure changes past the launch spike, but it isn't something we are currently looking to do.

There's another active thread on this topic at the moment, let's move the discussion over here.
