PC account linking with console

I bought the PC version at its first launch and maintained a subscription. Now I bought the Xbox version as well and want to play as my main character from PC. Will account linking prevent access to the PC version altogether, or just if I try logging at both at once? Thank you!

✭ZOS said before that both games would be independent of each other so you should be able to log onto them both at the same time. The progress you make on your character on PC will not transfer over to Console and vice versa. Linking the account most likely will just consolidate both accounts so you'll only need to log into one of them and be able to access both information.NA Server - Kildair0 -

Correct, any progress made on the PC character doesn't transfer to Console. If you made the transfer time, your character would have been copied on 6/1/15 I believe. ZOS has closed the transfer option and stated it will not be available again.NA Server - Kildair0 -
