I purchased the Imperial Addition of ESO for PC a year ago. I played it for a couple months and then stopped and didn't touch it since. When the console version released, I thought it would be cool to give ESO another go on my Xbox One so I paid $20 dollars to transfer over my stuff. While doing this, I looked at my account on the official Elder Scrolls Online website and saw that I had never unsubscribed from the game lol. Apparently I had a 180 day reoccurring subscription since day one. It wasn't a big deal but I noticed that I had accumulated a lot of Crowns. I thought this was pretty cool to have all these Crowns to use now that I am playing ESO again on the Xbox One. Well, apparently Crowns don't transfer when you transfer your account from PC to console. I was pretty disappointed when I contacted ESO support who then told me to contact Microsoft support who finally revealed this news to me. I must say, while I am having fun again in ESO, I feel pretty cheated by this policy.
Has this occurred to anyone else? I don't recall being notified by Zenimax that once I transfer from PC to Console my Crowns won't carry over. If I had known, I would have spent them and then transferred.
