I feel your pain but i just spent 5 and half hours in a three way fortress battle with well over a few hundred on consoles with no lag. It felt good for once to have a proper avava battle and it looks unreal.
I don't want to imagine the rage I'll feel if there's no lag in giant battles on consoles, but they haven't been able to fix it on PC for over a year.
I will rage quit so hard if that is the case.
It's been dead a long time. Right now it's rotting.
ZOS killed it by not fixing bugs and lag and allowing exploits to go unchecked.
No, people making threads about the game dieing and complaining non stop is the root of the problem.
Cyrodiil is awesome no matter the bugs and the lag, and the fact that people keep posting same threads about same subjects over and over again before browsing first and making sure that the same subject hasn't been started already is the reason why people get influenced in a bad way and eventually leave the game.
We're all aware that there are plenty of bugs but you aren't helping at all by posting some pessimist, negative and non constructive threads 15times a day about. If you wanna complain, at least use the one million threads already started and stop polluting the forums even more.

There is no reason to PvP... with a million AP and max levels what is the reward?
With the amount of players i played against and talked to cross faction that logged an average of at least 4 hours daily in pvp who quit in the past 3 weeks i dont feel you would be as adamant with how healthy the future looks. Hardcore players who push keeps, objectives and lead groups going MIA has a pretty big effect on more casual players.PvP is hardly "dying." There are plenty of people playing, and there's plenty of action to be had.
Some factions on some servers are dead, and some times are more active than others. But the idea that nobody plays anymore is just individuals declaring, "I quit, so everyone else should, too. My decision must be validated by the misery of others!"
There are more than enough players in Cyro at primetime to... well, to lag the servers. That is still a problem.

Except its not even fun because of all the exploits and imbalances.
I mean really... Getting hit by 4 moves from the same person in 1 second?how are you supposed to counter 30k damage from stealth half the time as you are riding back from being killed by the same crap. Just one example of how players suck the fun out of PvP.
