I knew it wouldn't be exactly like skyrim or oblivion etc. but I think the game does a good job in getting close to them. There is still a lot to interact with and even though I did make a khajiit thief / assassin, I have been too scared to try to steal anything yet

I had the game preloaded on PS4 and tried to play it the first hour it opened up. Couldn't get in and went to bed. Next morning tried and was right in. Since that time, I have had a few problems like many and in particular, the wait queue is quite a mystery. Position 1 in queue with 1 second wait time... lingering for 10 minutes. I'm sure that will be improved once more people get settled in and a patch or two. Even though the game was out for a year I still expect 3 or 4 days of minor issues at launch. I endured DriveClub release on PS4, I can get through this!

I think the visuals are decent, I'd say a 7.5 / 8 out of 10. The voices for the most part are also decent and the sound effects / music are close to Skyrim in my opinion. The little towns and out posts have enough activity going on so that they do not seem like a ghost town. Lots of little fetch quests so far. It would have been nice at the end of a quest if there was at least 2 choices of loot to take and you have to pick one. Maybe that would be pandering too much to the players. I have not spent any crowns yet and really can't see myself buying them. I would not pay real money just for a visual appearance change and will save for a horse.

I've only about 6 hours in the game so far and right now only levle 7 or 8. I am not rushing through quests just to level but exploring a bit and trying some of the crafting. After deconstructing a few items and making about 10 daggers, my BS skill is still 2 - I'm a bit confused by that but maybe it levels slow.

Questing is enjoyable. I have only been solo so far and not had any big challenges. I have not died yet. Tried duel wield, 1H/shield and 2H for combat. I think I like duel wield so far the most and it is in line with my nightblade. I have a bow but have not taken a shot with it yet.

This weekend I hope to log a few more hours in game, it's been a pretty positive experience for me so far. An auction house would be a nice addition as well as combat / healing numbers (or an option for those).

At the lower levels it's harder to solo things due to not very many skill points and decent armor. If your looking to solo more, have an armor/weapon set made for you. You can get two armor sets that will give you bonuses for your class line. These are a tremendous help for solo players. The more magica/health/stamina you have from these sets the more mobs you can kill and survive. I listed some sets below based off different classes that you can take a look at, since you didn't indicate your specific class.

Also the Harborage are all Solo instanced quests.

You can combo any 2 sets.

Nightblade- Great sets are Hundings, Ashen Grip, NIght Mothers and Nights Silence. These sets are good for 5 items each. So you can combo 5 Hundings and 4 Ashen for great bonuses and damage.

Sorcerer- Seducer, Magnus, Twilights Embrace and Torugs

Templar- Magicka based Seducer, Magnus, Twilights Embrace and Torugs, Stamina based Hundings, Ashen Grip, NIght Mothers and Nights Silence

Dragonknight-- Magicka based Seducer, Magnus, Twilights Embrace and Torugs, Stamina based Hundings, Ashen Grip, NIght Mothers and Nights Silence, Tank based Whitestrake, Lamae, Orgnun Scales

So far me and the 3 people that are playing with me are loving the game. Personally, I can't understand any complaints I've seen about how the game does not feel like an elder scrolls game. Only grips I have with the game are pretty minor. A lot of the enjoyment I get is just leveling and discovering things for the first time since I never really followed the game or looked up any information on it until I pre-ordered it about 10 hours before console launch.

Also, someone took the guild name we wanted. That's annoying. Those punks!

I've been playing mmorpg's since moo's mush's and mud's and every iteration of graphics based games there has been and this is hands down imo the best mmorpg made to date I still don't believe this game gets even half the credit it deserves! It's because everyone compares it to Skyrim and the other Scrolls titles which is absurd because it's like comparing Baseball to Basketball.

FYI bra, and not sure how many mmo forums you've visited in the past, but these forums are about the least restrictive and most opinion friendly forums I've ever been a part of. No one gets banned for speaking their opinions as long as it relates to the game
