Treasure Maps

Hi, I pre-ordered ESO:TU and I got all the treasure maps, the problem i am having is they take up to much inventory space! I was wondering if I can still dig up the treasures without the maps? Thanks!

    No. The treasure will only be there if the map is in your inventory.

    That's why it's recommended you only unpack the other alliances ones when you reach those zones.

    But you could start by finding the maps in your home alliance and get rid of half a dozen!

    I made this mistake as well back when I started the game on PC.

    A good work around is to create a new character and sit them in your starting zone by the bank, then transfer all the maps to that character via the bank to hold until you reach the zones they're needed for.

    I made the same mistake back in June '14, I carried those maps on my main (or bank) for 8 months! (Yes I took my time)
