ZoS had it made with their PC crowd, some of the most level headed of gamers especially on a forum. Now they have to handle the console crowd who are far louder, persistent and "entitled".
I kind of feel bad for ZoS, but on the other hand they actively ignored the warnings from early beta onward.

Us console gamers rarely have to deal with BS like this. You can say console games are of little quality and depth in comparison to pc games, but at least they're playable out of the box. We're just used to paying for something that actually works.

Sure because no PC player has ever acted like an "entitled" brat. I love all the stuck up pc master race/console master race bs on these forums. I *** and whine about a f****d up release no matter the platform it releases on if its a crappy release. I don't run to the store in excitement to pay $240 for 4 copies of a game that should be more stable at release, I go to the store to buy 4 copies of a game expecting that the developers have spent the due diligence required to develop and release a game.
The only real problem I see is the recent trend of consumers expecting a crappy product and being OK with that, and balking at people who feel they should have a better end product for the money they spent. Games on the Apple ][e, Commodore, and earlier generation PCs and consoles were never released this crappy. Because the consumer would not come back with more money, ever.
Both platforms are a mess, and only the consumers can enact a change. EA gets no more of my families money since they failed to handle BF3 and countless other titles, UBIsoft is on that list too, along with the fine folks at ZOS now. Its a long list but that's the only way things will really change.
To be expected, obviously. However one would also expect things to improve gradually over time, but we'll see.
